Hajle Peak is the most popular and attractive peak in Kosovo. The peculiarity of this peak is that half of it is in the part of Kosovo and the other half belongs to Montenegro, at the top you will be in two countries at the same time, the view that climbing in Hajla offers makes you an unforgettable climb!

What To Expect
One of the many attractions in Rugova is Hajla. Hajla is 2403m high, and to climb there a local guide is always preferred, from there you can see many peaks and cities, half belongs to Montenegro and half to Kosovo! This trail also starts from Shtupeqi i Madh and is part of international hiking trails Peaks of the Balkans and Via Dinarica, which continue from here towards Montenegro and Albanian part of Accursed Mountains. Difficult journey, 21 km, 8 hours, + 603m, -603m.

5.00The whole experience was wonderful. On your way up, the sights of the canyon and the valley from the road are incredible. The trail to the lakes also offers great views and the lakes themselves are amazing. The first one was frozen (thick ice) and we got to cross through it walking!! Visar, the guide, knows it all about the region and the country, great companion 👌🏽

5.00Beautiful view in Hajla Mountain, although the weather was very cold and hard to hike(more difficult hike of Hong Kong) ,the snow view is amazing.
