Le Morne Brabant is a mountain of the south-west of Mauritius, on the peninsula of le Morne. Our team has been the first ever guides in 2004 to bring guests from all over the planet on this majestic rock. Declared World Heritage by UNESCO since July 6, 2008, the site is a sanctuary of the runaway slaves who would have committed suicide by jumping off the cliff of the mountain.
Le Morne Brabant is one of the most preserved and wildest mountains of the island. It is habitat to a very large variety of endemic and narrow-endemic species, such as the rare Trochetia Boutoniana, which is our floral emblem.
Some steeper parts of the ascent will require the use of our hands to progress safely towards the top, where we’ll discover the breath-taking views on the west and south-west lagoons and part of of the island !

We had a great hike up Le Morne Brabant with our very attentive and informative host Rowin! It’s a very humid affair and can be a slippery decent, but Rowin helped us navigate the hike easily and stopped at various points to tell us interesting history about the mountain!

We rode Le Morne with a small group we were 6 with Rowin the super nice guide! He told us the story of Le Morne in detail pay close attention to the group, especially for those who had a little more trouble, he makes take the right paths the least risk, especially arrived up. Being a Barber, I gave him a little refreshment upstairs. I recommend Rowin for a great excursion in joy and good humor.

Good and professional guide! Taken good time to wait for those who need longer time. For people in usable form, this tour is very affordable. For people in poor shape, the last part of the trip is challenging.

Couple’s Hike at Le Morne Brabant, Mauritius Our hike up Le Morne Brabant was the perfect mix of adventure and romance. The trail starts easy, then becomes steeper with some fun rock-scrambling—great for teamwork and shared laughs. Along the way, the views of the turquoise lagoon are stunning, and reaching the summit together feels incredibly rewarding. It’s a challenging but manageable hike for couples who enjoy nature and a bit of adventure. Start early, wear good shoes, and bring water. The panorama at the top makes every step worth it—an unforgettable experience for two. And the guide , Rowin , will make the best experience of your trip in Mauritius 🇲🇺

Done solo, without guide before sunrise. In less than an hour, first part easy and you have to put your hands for the second part. I'm dizzy but nothing complicated, if I went up 🤣. Exceptional view, but leave before 5am on foot to see the sun rise.

Had an amazing hike to the top op Le Morne Brabant this morning (05:50) with guide Henri. The hike can be tough at some points, but Henri rewarded us by showing multiple beautiful viewpoints!
