Le Morne Brabant is a mountain of the south-west of Mauritius, on the peninsula of le Morne. Our team has been the first ever guides in 2004 to bring guests from all over the planet on this majestic rock. Declared World Heritage by UNESCO since July 6, 2008, the site is a sanctuary of the runaway slaves who would have committed suicide by jumping off the cliff of the mountain.
Le Morne Brabant is one of the most preserved and wildest mountains of the island. It is habitat to a very large variety of endemic and narrow-endemic species, such as the rare Trochetia Boutoniana, which is our floral emblem.
Some steeper parts of the ascent will require the use of our hands to progress safely towards the top, where we’ll discover the breath-taking views on the west and south-west lagoons and part of of the island !

Hiking with kind, experienced guide, Jordan Hiking Le Morne was truly one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. It is, without a doubt, a must-do activity in Mauritius. Our guide, Jordan, was exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive throughout the entire hike. He made us feel completely safe and supported, always encouraging us and carefully guiding us through the more challenging sections. Thanks to him, we were able to fully enjoy the adventure with confidence and peace of mind. Reaching the top was absolutely breathtaking. The views were beyond words — the turquoise lagoon, the dramatic cliffs, and the endless horizon created one of the most stunning landscapes we have ever seen. This was more than just a hike; it was a powerful and unforgettable memory that we will cherish forever. We are so grateful for this amazing experience. Highly, highly recommended. If you want to make precious memory and hospitality in Mauritius, meet Jordan and hike Le Morne with him!

Well led and fun hike up Le Morne Brabant with our guide Yudish. Steep climb at the end is pretty challenging but the view is well worth it.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience hiking Le Morne under Paj’s guidance. Paj was extremely kind, professional, and explained everything clearly and patiently. Thanks to his calm approach and excellent leadership, even less experienced members of our group managed the hike comfortably. What made the tour even more special was Paj’s knowledge of Mauritian flora. Along the way, he shared many interesting facts and insights that enriched the experience. I would also like to highlight the early start time of the hike, which was a brilliant decision. We were the very first group to begin and reached the summit about 30 minutes before everyone else. Experiencing the top of Le Morne in complete peace, almost alone, was absolutely phenomenal. Later on, the summit becomes very crowded, which makes it much harder to fully enjoy the moment or take great photos. This early start made all the difference. Thank you once again for an unforgettable experience. I would happily go on another hike with Paj anytime and highly recommend him to anyone considering Le Morne.

Thanks to Rowin for guiding us on this beautiful but demanding ascent of Le Morne. He was able to accompany this experience with explanations about the history and flora of Le Morne and Mauritian. Rowin was able to adapt perfectly to our pace to make this experience perfect. Thanks again to him

Trekking on Le Morne is a challenging route, choosing a guide is certainly the best and safest way to face it. Henri was a trained guide, who in addition to guiding us towards the trail gave us useful information about the endemic flora of the forest encountered and cultural information about the place where we were. He encouraged the members of the group in their time of need and made sure we all got to the top.
