Le Morne Brabant is a mountain of the south-west of Mauritius, on the peninsula of le Morne. Our team has been the first ever guides in 2004 to bring guests from all over the planet on this majestic rock. Declared World Heritage by UNESCO since July 6, 2008, the site is a sanctuary of the runaway slaves who would have committed suicide by jumping off the cliff of the mountain.
Le Morne Brabant is one of the most preserved and wildest mountains of the island. It is habitat to a very large variety of endemic and narrow-endemic species, such as the rare Trochetia Boutoniana, which is our floral emblem.
Some steeper parts of the ascent will require the use of our hands to progress safely towards the top, where we’ll discover the breath-taking views on the west and south-west lagoons and part of of the island !

Hiking with Theo! Great guide who explained the fauna and flora. He quickly puts me at ease, who fear raids, I trusted. And I had a great time. We had a wonderful time, and an incredible view of the bay of morne.. I recommend with my eyes closed. Real good!

We had Jordan as guide and had great hike with him on Le Morne Brabant on April 11. He gave very interesting information, was good with guiding the group and had good jokes.

Yesterday, my Husband and I climbed Le Morne Brabant with our wonderful guide, Paj. We were both quite apprehensive beforehand after seeing how steep the mountain was and the mention of ‘scrambling’. However, it was incredible, so much better than we had imagined. At no point did we feel unsafe and Paj was great at guiding us through the tough parts. We had initially contemplated doing it on our own, but I don’t think we would have completed it without Paj. He was really informative and showed us all the best view points. We would 100% recommend booking Yanature.

We loved our climb to Morne Brabant. Paj, our guide for the morning was very friendly and professional, paying attention to all members of the group. He knows the terrain extremely well and was able to guide us almost step by step in the final part, the most difficult, aerial and steep. Thanks to Paj who also turned into a photographer to leave us beautiful memories in images.

A great hike. With our guide Henri we made a good grip. He led us safely up the mountain in no time. It's a very sweaty affair. The view, however, rewards for the effort. High recommendation! Basically, the ascent is probably possible for everyone and publicly accessible. However, as accidents have recently increased, attempts are being made to control the frequency of travel and to have a greater impact on safety. Therefore, tours on your own are currently possible but very reluctantly seen if not prohibited.

Paj was great, and helped me get to the top of Le Morne despite my vertigo. This sunrise hike was great, thanks again to Paj and Yanature!

My teenaged daughter and I hiked Le Morne with Jordan yesterday and it was an experience we will never forget! Jordan made sure we felt comfortable on the very technical trail, and we also learned a lot about Mauritian history and culture along the way. It was our favorite experience in Mauritius. Thanks Jordan!!!

An absolute highlight of our Mauritius trip! We were skeptical about the afternoon heat, as much of the way was in the shade and it was cloudy in between but it was absolutely feasible. Climbing the nearly 500 meters in altitude is naturally sweaty in these climatic conditions. The first part of the trail was quite easy, the second part to the summit I could not imagine without a guide. You really climb steeply up over rocks and must not make a wrong step. Our guide Rowin has given us the necessary security and support, thank you for that! He was also a very entertaining companion and gave us a lot of background information. Conclusion: The view was absolutely worth the effort!
