What To Expect
Starting from the old city of Nafplio, we begin a memorable hiking tour that offers breathtaking views of the Argolic Gulf. As we follow the coastal path, we eventually arrive at a long sandy beach with crystal clear waters. Along the way, we visit two cozy Orthodox chapels, each revealing the unique local history and secrets. Taking a break at one of these chapels, we relax and savor some local snacks by the sea, fully immersed in the serene surroundings. An optional stop for swimming lets us enjoy the refreshing waters before we continue our journey. This hiking tour in Nafplio provides not only physical activity but also a rich cultural experience. As we head back to Nafplio, we are filled with the delightful scents and flavors of the region, along with great memories of the picturesque landscapes of Argolis. 5.00Today we did a five hour hiking tour with Antigone to the Abgou Monastery in the hills outside Napflio. The hike was perfect for a group. A medium challenge with an amazing destination. A small abandoned monastery with commanding views of the area. Antigone shared her knowledge of history, archeology and nature and even made us coffee on the roof of the monastery. It was a magical day and the April wildflowers were impressive. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to spend a day off the beaten path.
Would hire her again in a heartbeat, and this was a great walk she selected!

5.00Antigone was a friendly & terrific guide! The pacing of the hike up to Avgou Monastery was compatible, the trail easy to negotiate. She regaled us with history of the region and the monastery. The scenery and wildflowers were gorgeous. The perfect hike for our group, and one she loves as well.

5.00I absolutely loved our time with Vasilis touring the town of Nefplio with my family and another couple from our cruise. He made sure that my parents were as comfortable as possible during the walking tour, even getting them a ride to the upper areas so they wouldn't miss out on the experience and views. He told us to call him Bill to ensure we could communicate comfortably and call by name. Before he left us for the afternoon he made sure I had a place to eat without fish/seafood due to my allergies. 10/10 cannot recommend more. I can't wait to come back and explore more of the area with Vasilis.
