Alex was a phenomenal tour guide! He has lived in Japan for 2 decades and knows the ins and outs of the city. He navigated us to different memorials, gave us insights about the city we would have never gleaned on our own, and was a very engaging/enthusiastic individual. We’ve been in Japan for 2 weeks and this was our favorite experience getting to cycle through the city and walk about at Miyajima. Thank you, Alex!

Sage was a wonderful tour guide, friendly and very knowledgeable. She provided us with the history and stories of all the places we visited. The bike trip was at a pace we could all keep up with, with the added train and ferry trips. We enjoyed spending the day with her. We would recommend this tour to anyone.

James was extraordinary: knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He could pronounce any Japanese word (no matter how many syllables), phrase or sentence. His language skills were most impressive since he is from Dubai and has lived in both China and Japan. His English was faultless. He spent time making sure our group of four had comfortable bikes and knew how to use them. He guided us along the canals, through the Peace Park, onto a ferry to Miyajima. He explained the legends about the island and was attentive to our needs, including tasting local food, taking photos and shopping for souvenirs. His knowledge about the history leading up to the bombing in Hiroshima and the aftermath was exemplary. We learned a lot. James is a Jewel and we highly recommend taking this tour with him (which he does to help pay for his PhD tuition). He is am amazing man and we will always remember him and this tour. Thank you.
