A full day adventure on bikes, boats, and trains at two of Japan's must-see destinations. Starting the day on two wheels, experience a thought-provoking and sensitive commentary on the history of Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park and Castle. From here, take a local train and ferry to Miyajima Island, where you can enjoy the contrast between with the stunning Shinto buildings and lush greenery of the island. Once on the island, you will learn about the culture of the island, explore the sites with your guide, greet the local deer, enjoy a regional lunch (vegetarian options are available but for other dietary requirements please get in touch), and discover the famous Itsukushima Shrine. Return to Hiroshima City in the manner you arrived and get evening recommendations from your neighbourhood guide.

5.00What am amazing tour! I ended up being the only one on the tour and Aimee was able to taylor the tour to my preferences. We ended up exploring Miyajima more and I got some great photo opportunities and tips to improve my photos! Afterwards got a history lesson on the Peace Memorial park to finish up the tour. One of the top highlights of my trip.

5.00Even though no bikes were involved due to rain, we still enjoyed this tour. Awain is very knowledgeable and adapts to individual needs. We visited places we would never have known to visit. I had walking issues and he adapted my tour to make sure I could sit wherever possible. It's well worth it, to get away from the crowds and get a more personalised tour.

5.00If you want to go to Hiroshima and learn a lot, this is the appropriate tour. James (the guide) has a lot of knowledge of the area and its history, and even if you don’t get it out of him it’s a torrent from the start. It also allows you to chat casually with all the members (himself included) of the tour, so they end up becoming friends. It’s great, even if the rain can be a little uncomfortable at this time of year.

Aimee’s knowledge of the history of Hiroshima, the castle, the A bomb dome and the peace memorial park were all highlights of our day. We can’t thank Amiee enough for her banter, her fun and for making our time in Hiroshima so memorable.

5.00We had a lovely time on this tour even despite the rain. Our tour guide Awais was very engaging and knew so much information about Hiroshima and Miyajima. I learned a ton - I only wish we had more time to explore more. Note - the tour does not include the museum so after we finished, we went back to the museum and went through. Great experience!

5.00One of my favorite activities in Hiroshima. The guide was very patient and knowledgeable. I learned and saw so much but never felt rushed. Extremely glad I did this on my first day to see the whole area and learn about the history of this beautiful city.
