A full day adventure on bikes, boats, and trains at two of Japan's must-see destinations. Starting the day on two wheels, experience a thought-provoking and sensitive commentary on the history of Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park and Castle. From here, take a local train and ferry to Miyajima Island, where you can enjoy the contrast between with the stunning Shinto buildings and lush greenery of the island. Once on the island, you will learn about the culture of the island, explore the sites with your guide, greet the local deer, enjoy a regional lunch (vegetarian options are available but for other dietary requirements please get in touch), and discover the famous Itsukushima Shrine. Return to Hiroshima City in the manner you arrived and get evening recommendations from your neighbourhood guide.

This was an amazing experience. James was my guide and he was able to create a flawless journey through all the sights I wanted to do in Hiroshima on a very short stop. Riding bikes is absolutely the best way to move around all these special monuments.with ease and to fit it into one day. The day didn't feel long and James was incredibly friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I absolutely recommend him and this tour. You wont be disappointed!
Be Prepared! Full day tour requires energy.

We were prepared and we enjoyed it! Biking: maybe an hour, all told. Train to/from island: 1.5 hrs Boat ride: 1 hour to/from Lunch: 1 hour (ramen place, veg option available) Walk Island: 1.5 hr, and crowded, and hard for anyone not used to walking much Atomic Bomb Park: 2 hrs over a small footprint. James was our guide: competent, clear voice, good English, took good care of each guest. Bikes were fine. Toilet breaks were ample. Shopping time allocated. Historical sites well presented and time allocated. Satisfied with the tour, would recommend, but it takes energy and patience.

The tour was a highlight of our time in Japan. We were blessed with a beautiful day for our boat ride and walk around the island. After a yummy lunch, we viewed Hiroshima Castle and many bomb-related sites including the Atomic Bomb Dome, the Children’s Peace Monument, the Flame of Peace, and the Memorial Cenotaph. Alex was a knowledgeable and easygoing guide.

Awais was an exceptional guide. His English was flawless, and he proved to be great company throughout the day. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive, he worked with us to make the experience perfect—even ensuring the weather was on our side! He reached out the night before to confirm details, checked that we knew the meeting point, and kindly offered assistance if needed. That thoughtful communication gave us peace of mind. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended!

Excellent experience, knowledge & array of stops throughout this bicycle tour. Mymajima Island was a surprise with the Tori Gates, temples, shrines & buddha. Tour guide Awias was great with his knowledge & history of Japan.
Get on this tour it was AMAZING

What an amazing day cycling through Hiroshima with Awais. Such a lovely and informative guide, he was so knowledgeable about Hiroshima’s past and could not be more accommodating and helpful. Our afternoon at miyajima was well beyond expectations. Such a beautiful shrine and temple and again, Awais was a wonderful guide explaining the history of the island. This was one of the best days we’ve had during our 2 weeks in Japan. Worth every cent I cannot recommend this tour highly enough.
James was amazing, so knowledgeable and we learnt an incredible amount. He was eager to help us understand 10/10

We had a fantastic day with Aimee, she was a fantastic guide. Explained everything really well, and guided us safely on the bikes, and avoided the crowded areas. The food was fantastic, and it was great to support the local crafts. We were lucky to catch the Autumn colours. Thanks so much Aimee.
