This bike tour was fantastic. It was nice to not be walking everywhere. The ride is very easy through parks and backstreets. Our guide Aime-Linh was great. English speaking and very casual. She shared many stories and took us through the Memorial park stopping at various monuments to explain their meaning. A bonus surprise was that we got to fold an origami crane and place it in the children's memorial. On the way to Hiroshima castle we stopped by a bakery with the most amazing bread (Lucky Bakery). The Shukkeien garden is also an option, although we already done that (also highly recommend). All up was 4hrs and it went so quickly. Very easy ride, we didn't even break a sweat. Good quality bikes too! A great way to do the atomic bomb memorial area of Horoshima. Do this before you do the museum!!!

I highly recommend Cycling Hiroshima, it is probably the best tour I’ve ever been on. I was in town for just a day. As I reflect on it, I felt connected to the history, people, and spirit of Hiroshima and for that I am deeply grateful. The flow of the tour was perfect, hitting the key sites with plenty of time to explore, ask questions, and cultivate an understanding for what I was seeing. Cycling was also a great way to do it, too! I want to express my deep appreciation for Miyu, who guided me today. She elevated what might have been a fairly straight-forward day trip to something truly sublime. Her pure appreciation of Hiroshima and the perspective she brought to it resonated deeply with me and I feel very lucky to have had such a knowledgeable and lovely person to learn from. After the tour, she recommended that I go to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and Okonomi-mura, both of which were excellent. I don’t think I would have had the same appreciation of those experiences if I hadn’t taken the tour with Miyu earlier in the day. She really helped this become a truly perfect day. Thank you so much for the experience, I’m going to cherish this. I look forward to coming back to try the other tours and learning more about Hiroshima and its people. -Pavan Rajam

We had a great day in Hiroshima with Awais. He knows a lot about the history of the area, the country, and of course, the dropping of the a-bomb. The timing of each was perfect and he was even nice and took some pictures of us at a few greats spots.
