This is an excellent introduction to the main sights of Hiroshima, especially those relating to the atomic bombing and the peace museum. The cycling isn’t demanding as the city is flat, but it’s a great way to get round the sights quickly, which are spread out, so you can return to those that interest you the most. Awais was a really friendly and well-informed guide, and it was a pleasure to be in his group. Thank you, Awais!

After a high recommendation from a NZ friend (who had done this exact tour) my husband and I booked this tour to fit in with a bullet train excursion from Kyoto for the day. Our wonderfully knowledgeable and kind guide AWAIS carefully navigated us around closed off streets (due to National Golden week) to show us all the best and mostly unpopulated spots to view and talk about all the Hiroshima top visitor sites. My original booking was for two manual bikes (as there was no e-bike option) when booking. Hiroshima is flat for biking. However, the unexpected option of a 2000 yen (approx USD10) upgrade (upon arrival) to an E-bike was welcomed for boosting over some of the slight bridge inclines and catching up with the biking group, if I lingered a bit longer for some photo opportunities.

Awais was a very knowledgeable guide about Hiroshima. We felt very safe with the bikes. We received a great overview of the history of the city before and after the bomb was dropped.

Our bike tour with Ihsan was an incredible experience! We were able to cover so much of the Hiroshima area in such a relaxed and enjoyable way. Ihsan’s knowledge of the city’s history was insightful, and he encouraged us to ask as many questions as we liked, making the whole tour feel really engaging and personal. We had a couple of nervous riders in our group, but they felt at ease right away once we got going. It was a peaceful, informative, and memorable way to explore such a meaningful place. Highly recommend!
