This tour covers all the must-see spots in Hiroshima in just one day, running from around 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
We basically use public transportations (trains and ferry / NO private car), because we want you to enjoy the local lifestyle here.
Led by a local guide with deep knowledge of Hiroshima’s history during the war, you’ll experience the authentic story firsthand.
A highlight of the tour is Itsukushima Shrine, famous for its stunning torii gate that appears to float on the sea at high tide. This iconic shrine, deeply tied to Japan's Shinto tradition, is one of the country's most beautiful and renowned landmarks.
In addition to visiting Hiroshima’s famous sites, we’ll take you to hidden local spots related to the atomic bombing that are known only to locals—places you won’t find on the internet.
The tour is flexible and can be tailored to your preferences. If there are any other places you'd like to visit, just let us know at any time!

5.00We met Yuta for an all day Hiroshima tour. It was definitely one of our top highlights of our 2 week trip to Japan. Yuta met us at the train station as we traveled from Kyoto. He was very knowledgeable and had us engaged and interested from the beginning. We really like the balanced approach of seeing many different areas of Hiroshima. We learned so much about the people, history and culture. We highly recommend this tour with Yuta.

We’re truly glad we booked this personalized tour, as it allowed us to explore exactly what we wanted with our wonderful guide, Minori. Experiencing the sights with her deep knowledge made all the difference, bringing history to life rather than just viewing landmarks. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Hiroshima, appreciating both the insightful historical context Minori provided and the peaceful moments spent admiring the garden views. From our pick-up at the hotel, learning the history of the beautiful city Hiroshima and its sobering past, to an early morning ferry to explore Miyajima island, and lunching on okonomiyaki at the BEST restaurant in town this was a fantastic tour. Minori is a local, passionate, fun, and knowledgeable guide who provides tremendous insight of her hometown. This tour was truly a highlight of our trip to Japan.

5.00My daughter and I had an amazing tour and day with Minori. She met us at the train station and from there we hit the ground running. We were able to choose the sites we wanted to visit, she throughly explained the importance of the sites we toured and pointed out areas for us to see that we would have overlooked touring ourselves. She took us to the most amazing place for lunch. The food was amazing!!! She was patient with us, assisted in photos.....I can not recommend her enough if you are looking for a fabulous tour in Hiroshima and Miyajima. You will not be disappointed!!

5.00We had a walking tour of Hiroshima with Minori on a beautiful summers day. She was extremely knowledgeable and took us to some spots such as the underground survivors basement and the Shukkeien Garden which we wouldn’t have gone to if we went alone. Minori was super friendly and we had some interesting discussions as we walked around the key sights. Would definitely recommend to anyone exploring Hiroshima for the first time. 5.00We had the most amazing morning to Miyajima Island from Hiroshima. We visited Itsukushima Shrine and Daishouin Temple before doing a little souvenir shopping. Our guide was absolutely excellent and also gave us other recommendations for the rest of our stay in Hiroshima! I would highly recommend a tour

5.00Fabulous day with Yuta at Hiroshima/Miyajima. Our guide was outstanding — engaging, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive to each member of our family (husband, wife, and adult daughter, aged 34). We especially appreciated how he combined a deep understanding of Japan’s history with thoughtful insights into how those events continue to shape the country today. He was, without question, our favourite guide during our time in Japan. We rated him a 6 on a scale of 1 to 5 — and later, after discovering a heartfelt thank-you note tucked into our farewell treats, we agreed he truly deserved a 7 out of 5!
