Guide Tip
This unassuming 19th-century home was the first chapter in the life of Jennie Wade, the only civilian killed during the Battle of Gettysburg. My daughter and her friend had a great time. The tour guide was very friendly. There is a bit of a walk for anyone that may have issue.

Our tour guide was Tiffany. She was great! We started at 10 p and finished at 12 a. The experience was fun and worth the admission fee. I definitely recommend this tour and would take it again when we come back.

A great time was had by the entire family. As it turned out our family was the only ones on the tour, so It became very personal. Tiffany was our tour guide and she was great and well informed. She gave us a historical background of the Wade family and then displayed a wealth of different ghost hunting equipment. She gave us instructions on all the devices and then gave us free roam of the house to do our own investigations. The most active room was Jennie Wade’s bedroom where spirits of two children from the orphanage seemed to be present. Tiffany got the children to ring the bell like crazy. Also in the parlor we had some activity with cat balls and emf meters. With no one else downstairs my wife heard vocal sounds which Tiffany said they may be Jack, Jennies’ finance. With the infrared camera we saw a white dot appear on our daughter-in-law’s chest and arm which couldn’t be explained. Highly recommend the tour for all ages.

We just did the Jennie Wade Ghost hunt with Ida and had a great time. It was just Ida, my husband and myself so we had the entire house to do our investigation on our own. In Jennie's bedroom the bell and the K2 meters was going off like crazy. We were also getting messages in the bedroom and in the parlor thru the app the Ida uses on her tours. They supply many different pieces of equipment to use and we have used several on the 2 hunts we have done this week with good results both nights. I have been telling everyone we have talked to this week to do one of the tours and ask for Ida as she seems to love her job. We will definitely come back and do again.
