This award-winning Krakow tour will cover all of the highlights of Krakow Old Town and Wawel Castle.
The small fee you pay to Viator is a booking fee to secure your place on the tour. On the day, you will join our donations-based tour. Our guides work for contributions at the end. The amount you donate is entirely up to you.
We meet in front of the towers of St Mary's Basilica in Krakow Old Town main square. Look for the Blue 'City Walks Krakow' umbrella.
On the tour, you'll visit the beautiful Krakow Old Town and majestic Wawel Castle. You'll learn about Krakow's most important historical figures, including Pope John Paul II and Nicolaus Copernicus. You'll hear the stories of Krakow's most famous residents—the Krakow Dragon and the St. Mary's Basilica trumpeter.

4.00Good introduction to old town area of Krakow. Irene was our guide and a super positive and friendly individual who braved the cold with us! Ended up at Wawel castle as it was getting dark at 4ish so hard to see if you take the 2pm tour.

2.00The tour guide was knowledgeable; however, the group was far too large, which made it difficult to hear the explanations. The coffee break was poorly organized, as two other groups were visiting at the same time and there was no seating available. In addition, the agreed restart time after the break was not respected, resulting in many participants waiting outside the café for 20 minutes. The explanation given for the delay was not satisfactory. Overall, the lack of organization significantly affected the experience, which is why this tour deserves a 2-star rating.

5.00Excellent walking tour with Dale. The 2.5 hours whizzed by. Well timed got drink and loo stop. I'd really recommend doing this on your first day in Krakow. Excellent overview of the city. Combine it with a tour of the Jewish quarter

5.00Alex was a phenomenal guide and had planned the tour extremely well. Time flew by and it did not feel like 3hrs. I especially liked how she blended snippets of myths with quite abit of history. 10/10 and would recommend to anyone planning to do a tour of the old town.
