We sail past the Old Museum (Westerhaven), warehouses Hoge and Lage der A, AA Church, corner of Ameland, Noorderhaven, De Prinsenhof, Martinitoren and the Stadsschouwburg. The skipper on duty tells an animated story about Groningen and its sights.

Make special requests in the registration form. Drinking is offered during the tour. Very nice and sociable. You can ask for all the information and make friends.

5.00Together with my parents and my boyfriend we made a fun and educational tour over the water with guide Piter. It is special to discover the city from a boat and hear interesting facts at the same time. The drinks were delicious, the weather cooperated and so we floated quietly between houses and streets. Highly recommended for those who want to experience Groningen in a different way, even if you have lived there for years

5.00Great time - highly recommend. This is a fun 1 hour commitment. Drinks are super. Learned about Groningen and saw parts I would not have seen. Our guide Stein, was great and adapted the tour for our group

5.00We had a private boat for our group of 16 people for the person price of a shared boat and that was very nice, because now we had ample space in the (very neat) boat and we could have our own group conversations. We had indicated that we were also interested in the history of Groningen, so our helmsman (student Olger) regularly told us about the places we passed. There is really only one canal in Groningen, so an hour was fine. We were lucky with the nice weather, because in rain there is no hiding place. We were allowed to grab alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from the fridge ourselves (there was no coffee / tea), but with us there was mainly water drunk. That's why it ran out at one point. It was a lot of fun!
