We had a fantastic trip to Delphi and Arachova on 27 October with our very knowledgeable and informative guide (Dimitrios of Keytours). He brought the stories, the historic remains of Delphi and museum exhibits alive. He went out of his way to look after guests on the tour. Thanks also to our excellent driver Stelios. This is a fairly long day-trip, with quite a lot of driving from Athens, so the actual time in Delphi is slightly limited but we saw all we wanted to see. There are options of lunch at a restaurant in Arachova (which we didn’t take on this occasion, to allow for more sight-seeing) plus a short stop at a preferred partner shop before leaving Arachova on the way home. Overall, the trip was well-organised, ran to schedule, included all elements as-advertised and we had a memorable time. So much so, that my family booked a second tour (to Mycenae, Nafplio and Epidaurus) the following day with the same operator and guide! (Which unfortunately was full so I couldn’t get on it myself but they had an equally enjoyable experience!).

This is a pleasant trip package in the sense that it is all organised for you (driven to and from, a good guide). However, it felt a bit rush once at Delphi and at the museum. And the stop at Arachova village is lovely but a real tourist trap! The best thing would be to drive there yourself perhaps hiring a car outside Athens as the traffic can be intense.

Wonderful experience. Delphi was even nicer than expected. The surrounding mountains were beautiful. And the town of Arachova was enchanting. Marianna our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. Tour was well organized, bus new and very clean. Driver excellent. Learned so much about the Greek origin of our English vocabulary. Extremely interesting. Give it 5+ stars.

lots of walking uphill; lots of stones and pillars - which only make sense because there are stories attached; the stop in the village is only enough for lunch - but its a nice village;

Our guide Michael made the tour unforgettable. He mixed knowledge, linguistics, drama, wit and fun in a truly unique blend:D I’m so happy we had him as our guide, all the other guides sounded so “boring” and “the usual”. But not our Michael, no sir :))) We learned so much from the whole way, because Michael was commenting throughout the day on the various places we were passing by. At the same time super patient with lots of questions:)) The whole trip run in a timely fashion and the day flew by really fast. 100/100 would recommend!

Anyone not physically able to climb should not consider this trip. It involves many steps to enjoy and appreciate the site. But for all others who doesn't have this problem definitely recommend the trip.

Absolutely wonderful tour of Delphi. The bus was comfortable, the tour guide was great. Highly recommend getting a donut at the stop on the way up. The food provided on the your, if chosen, was not worth it and would recommend grabbing lunch on your own. Highly recommend this tour and seeing another part of Greece with amazing view and history
