This was not great. The guide was rude, was argumentative, for no reason. She walked so fast the headphones didnt work. I asked her to slow down and she sped up. I did not enjoy it at all.

Our guide, Evan, was well prepared with anti-itch stuff for a bee sting, cough drops for a lady with a persistent cough. He was a fount of information. He was polite and pleasant, and clear in his instructions. Lunch was good. It was fun to try wild boar! However, we were supposed to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel. We did get picked up at our hotel. However, on the way back, he said it was too difficult to drop us off at this time of day. So they would drop us off somewhere that was a short walk. When he dropped us off, he said it was a 10 minute walk straight down the road. After 10 minutes, we still weren’t where we were supposed to be. So we stopped at another hotel. They said to go across the street to the next side street and turn left, walk about seven minutes and turn right. In the end, it took us at least a half an hour, all told. And his directions were wrong. And we are strangers in the city, without a map, and no Internet on our phones. It was nerve wracking. Fortunately, my husband at least knew the street address. Otherwise we wouldn’t even have known which street to turn down on.

It was a decent tour, but a little hasty. Getting to the site by bus was very comfortable but once we reached Delphi everything else was rushed. We didn’t have enough time to enjoy Delphi, not even buy anything at the gift shop. The tour was mildly informative, and we spent too much time in Arachova that we could have used for Delphi which was the purpose of taking this tour.
