This cruise has it all! Great dinner, music, service, historical narration, and unforgettable views. The whole experience is about 3 hours where the first half goes from Kailua Pier to the Captain Cook Monument and the second half is when the boat goes out to sea to watch that classic Hawaiian sunset and then back to Kailua Pier. My party and I enjoyed the food a lot. You get a salad, entree, and dessert along with drinks (you will have to open a tab if you want alcohol). The beef short rib was amazing, melt in mouth good, along with the rest of my food. The rest of my party got the vegetarian Thai curry which they also enjoyed. First critique would be that I wished the menu was expanded a bit more to include either a chicken or fish option. Some members of my party only ordered the vegetarian option because they don't eat beef but would've got a chicken or fish if it was available. Second critique is that the boat ride is not as gentle as they claim to be. While no one in my party got seasick, I witnessed other guests being escorted to the bottom deck to ease their discomfort. The boat has a bottom and top deck so if seasickness is a concern for you, bring medicine and stick to the bottom deck. If you're looking for a chill evening event while planning your trip to the Big Island, I would definitely recommend adding this experience to your itinerary!

It was a nice boat ride. The food was good and the desert was even better. Very informative on the hawaiian culture. We saw a pod of dolphins which made great photos.

There were swells but the cruise ship left anyway. Once out of harbor pretty smooth sailing. We had a fun crows on board. Crew were great. Dinner good too. They bring you drinks if you don't want to go to bar. Beautiful sunset views at the end.

Pretty sunset and good food and service. I asked the staff if the boat would move as much as it was on the pier and they said no. They also said the cover on the top deck would keep us dry? He said no to both and both were blatant lies!!! 3 hours sitting on a boat that Jared you all over the place!! They need to warn people about this!! We are done with all sunset boat rides!! We expected a more level ride.
