This is a fascinating walk. The historical significance of Vienna was extremely interesting. This was helped immensely by our guide, Dieter, who was brilliant. His enthusiasm, clarity and knowledge of the subject was enthralling. 10 out of 10 for this walk and I would recommend it to anyone.

We couldn't finish the tour as we were pressed for time and it was such a shame. Wolfgang really knew his stuff! Just wished we could have entered the monuments.

Dieter was our guide - he was very knowledgeable and considerate- we had 3 walking tours in 3 different cities in this trip and this tour was the only one that had an ear set, which really helped to hear the guide clearly against all the traffic noises. The information was great. There was plenty of chances to take photos or sit down. The pace was moderate and also allowed break for water. Highly recommend!

I had been to Vienna before but hadn't had the chance to take part in this trip previously, although I had a long standing interest due to courses I'd taken at university, and even doing a bit of teaching on this bleak time in history. The walking tour was well paced and the two and a half hours went by very quickly. There were a couple of stops en route for anyone who needed a toilet break. Our tour guide, Dieter, was first class. He has an in-depth knowledge of Hitler's time in Vienna and an understanding of the wider context of the time. He was very personable and answered all our questions in an informative manner. Highly recommended.

Sigi was an amazing guide. She took us through Vienna telling us stories about our stops along the way and the roll that Viennese people played in World War II. I learned so much from what she shared with us, connecting the dots with our Mounthausen Tour. She was kind, respectful to the history and a wonderful story teller.

Siggi was our tour guide and she was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about history! She gave a ton of information about locations we were visiting and even had pictures and maps with her to show us for additional context. The tour covered aspects of Hitler's time and influence in Vienna as well as Austrian history pertaining to the country itself and WW2. Highly recommend this tour!
