Join us for a ride along Norway's longest historical postal route. While the route was operated in the 19th century 30 different reindeer herding families got their mail delivered to them along this road. You will get a glimpse of what it used to take to deliver a mail up here in the sometimes-harsh, rough conditions of the arctic. We will take you on journey, following part of the original route between Gargia and Suolovuopmi Mountain Lodge.
This trip gives you an exhilarating way of exploring the arctic scenery just right outside our doorstep. While driving through the magical winter landscape, there is a possibility to see wildlife as well. Once we reach the highest point of the plains you will be impressed by the vast views that Europe’s largest mountain plateau has to offer.

Great adventure in snowmobile. Very nice panoramas and a team with little care and very accommodating. We were in port on our cruise and everything was well organized: arrangement on schedules and pick up at the boat and back in time. I recommend

This was an excellent snowmobiling experience with a great Guide, Jon. He took us up on top of the mountain with several stops to explain some of the history. The mobile was in great condition and the equipment provided was great too. Thoroughly enjoyed this and with the right gear, the cold didn’t make any difference. Highly recommended.

Our guide Marion took us on a fantastic day trip with good hospitality along the way. High degree of competence and safety, a lot of knowledge of local history and, not least, service minded. Really a trip to recommend!

We did it on 2 motorbikes, we had special attention from the guide Lina. Everything was very professional, from clothes and equipment. The scenery and weather conditions are unique!

We had a great time with our guide as we tracked across the tundra along an old postal route. The weather was really in our favor with amazing blue skies and only moderate winds. We hit some rough patches where the track had been torn up the day before, so we all (guide included) had to take turns navigating the rough areas and falling off our snowmobiles, but we got through it with the help of our awesome guide and his eternally positive attitude. This was a great way to spend a day experiencing three areas and learning some of the culture as well.

Great trip to Finnmarksvidda and Gargia lodge. We had a real winter adventure with dog sleighs in Alta and a scooter tour to a cosy cabin with great waffles! The weather was a bit challanging part of the way, but nothing we couldn't handle with help from our guide👍 Awesome cake-pops at Gargia by the way 🎂🤗
