The local guide Roberto showed us around the city and told us in a lively way about the city’s history from Viking times to today. Can really be recommended!

I’m sorry to say but this was not a good experience. We arrived at the meeting point and our guide told us that the tour would be both is Danish and English. We had booked for an English tour only. Apparently, according to our guide, this was an error from the tour provider. Our guide was good but he spent much more time speaking Danish than English. He only provided us short English summaries. We left before the end of the tour and we felt rather frustrated by the whole experience.

Super good and exciting trip with our guide August! He had a great knowledge about the city and even though we live in Aarhus, we learned a lot! Exciting trip and great to be a tourist in your own city. Can warmly recommend!! Our guide was passionate and glad to share his knowledge and there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions and go into dialogue! A must for anyone interested in the city...

I can't say enough about Thor and his absolute love of Aarhus. His deep roots in the city make his historical accounts personal. He went out of his way to make it a great tour even though it was a cold, raw day. Would definitely recommend Aarhus Culture Walk!

We absolutely loved the tour of Thor, who's actually one of the owners of "Aarhus culture walk". You can tell that he really loves his city. At every sight he had a story of his own to tell, which gave it a personal touch! We definitely recommend this experience!

The guide was very informative and knew a lot about the local history and architecture. I appreciated his knowledge and passion for the subject. I was on a Danish-language tour, and when I booked it, the listing did not make the language clear. The guide told me the English language tour was later in the day, not my preferred time. The tour guide ended up giving me brief translations of what he had said as we walked between the attractions. I did think some of the narrative was long-winded - the part delivered in Danish. I was grateful the guide gave a summary when he spoke to me in English. Overall, a worthwhile way to experience Aarhus.

August was our guide. He was very knowledgable about the town gaving a good insight into the origins of Aarhus from Viking settlement right through to its industrial beginnings, WII and its socialist background. Despite the weather, we had a vwry good toue of the town.
