What To Expect
St Michael's Bridge
We start here with an introduction to the history of Ghent and the role the city played as a trading hub in medieval times. We also introduce you to the 3 towers of the Ghent skyline, which are best visible from this spot.
Graslei and Korenlei
At the Graslei, the beating heart of the historical city centre, we show you which buildings were involved in the trading activities when this area functioned as the city’s port.

5.00My friend and I (Australians) attended on one of Legends’ tours in Ghent with Kenny as our guide. He was a fantastic guide. He kept us entertained, engaged and very well informed of Ghent’s history throughout the tour. He had an enthusiastic, jovial energy - he clearly enjoys this work - but he also took the tour seriously, ensuring that we reached all major points of the tour within 2 hours. Kenny has an impressive breadth of knowledge, covering topics from architecture, medieval and modern histories, and more contemporary urban culture in Ghent. He was responsive to all questions posed to him. Tour guides like Kenny make these walking tours really worthwhile.
