This golf cart tour was a wonderful mix of storytelling, hearing historical facts, learning about the culture & rich history of the south, and most, especially seeing the beautiful scenery, low country views of the water & marsh and old homes of historical Beaufort, South Carolina. I was worried that our teen son might be bored, but the stories were so interesting and the pace was so engaging that he loved it. It just could not have been a better tour or experience for all of us. When we let my husband said, “I wasn’t so sure about this when you booked it. I was surprised how great it was. I’m so glad we did this.” We highly recommend this tour.

Excellent tour of old Beaufort. Tour guide Janet shared a great number of stories and back stories that made the tour insightful. Plus, she had a keen interest in the Beaufort flora, so it was good to know what flowers were what. And as so many movies have been filmed in Beaufort, Janet was able to point out many of the homes, buildings and property that was used in so many of the movies. Good couple of Pat Conroy stores, too. Well worth the 50-60 minutes of our time.

We had the most delightful guide! I'm sorry that I may have mis-remembered his name, but I think it was Bill. He had great stories and information, and jokes! He knew so much about Beaufort and the history of the area. He even gave us tips about other activities we might enjoy. The tour was so much fun, we wished it gone longer.
