The Independence Palace
On April 30th, 1975, what the Vietnamese refer to as the 'American War' officially ended when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was, at the time, the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam
War Remnants Museum
Formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes is a poignant display of the futility of war. Some of the black and white photography in the 'Requiem' exhibit is particularly touching and is dedicated to both foreign and Vietnamese journalists and photographers who perished during the conflict.

5.00Our guide Larry picked us up from our hotel and took us on the tour bright and early. He was very personable and made sure to explain things along the way from his perspective. He taught us so much about how the locals live, shared lots of information and historical facts, and made sure we got to see everything in a timely manner. He also spent some time to teach us the different symbols and how to recognize the different meanings for vietnam words. We had such a great time and highly recommend taking this tour!!

5.00we had a lovely time. Leo our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He looked after us all and make sure that we all kept together and made sure we was safe. Our transport was very comfortable and cool in the heat. The restaurant that we eat in for lunch was very delicious. Leo definitely make the tour very enjoyable. would defiantly recommend.
