The Independence Palace
On April 30th, 1975, what the Vietnamese refer to as the 'American War' officially ended when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was, at the time, the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam
War Remnants Museum
Formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes is a poignant display of the futility of war. Some of the black and white photography in the 'Requiem' exhibit is particularly touching and is dedicated to both foreign and Vietnamese journalists and photographers who perished during the conflict.

5.00Was a really good tour of the city highlights. Loren was great - informative and friendly. Appreciate the air conditioned car between stops with my elderly mum. Recommend if you can’t walk too far in the heat or want someone to take all the hard work out of a day in HCMC

5.00What an amazing morning we had with our tour! Our guide was wonderful as was the driver. Our guide kept things moving, had lots of information to share. He recognized the needs of travelling with kids. Kept a great pace and things and was understanding when we needed a rest, a snack, or a bathroom break. He was patient and had a great sense of humour We saw lots of sights in the four hours and then were provided with great tips for the rest of our time in Ho Chi Minh City. Thanks for a great tour!

Having a private tour is really helpful to do what you like when it's possible, and we really appreciated the opportunity. We enjoyed this tour and would recommend it. He does not simply regurgitate facts, instead, he brings the facts to life through stories and anecdotes, sprinkling in a bit of personal experience. He is flexible and gets a feel for his audience and adapts accordingly. We had visited Saigon, but we learned so many new things with our tour with Tony.
