What To Expect
GREET & MEET: Our tour guide and driver will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby to greet you. We will provide you with a short briefing on how to ride safely and what you need to do while seated behind us on the scooters. Hold on tight, and let's start an exciting adventure with us! During this food tour, we will chat and share the local and food stories to help you understand more about life of people as well as local cuisine not only in Saigon but also the whole Vietnam.
After an exciting ride, our first stop brings you to a cozy local eatery in District 3, where you’ll enjoy a bowl of Bún Bò Huế — a bold and aromatic beef noodle soup that stands apart from the more familiar Phở found across Vietnam. This central Vietnamese specialty features a fragrant broth simmered with lemongrass, beef bones, pineapple, and shrimp paste, giving it a rich, slightly spicy depth. It’s topped with crab sausage, tender beef brisket, spring onions, and sliced onions — a perfect balance of savory, spicy, and aromatic flavors that will wake up your taste buds from the very first sip.

5.00The tour takes you through a couple of the districts stopping at various non touristy places where we were able to savour the flavours common to the various areas of Vietnam. What a fantastic tour. Our guide Stellar was amazing and very knowledgeable about the food and its preparation but also of the history pertaining to the food and the country as a whole. Stellar has a great sense of humour too and always made the effort to involve everyone in understanding the food and flavours. We had scooters driven by young woman and Lisa my driver was very well versed in English which was fantastic being able to converse and ask loads of questions in English. Overall the food was genuinely mouthwatering and at least now we know what the foods offered in the country actually taste like and where they originate from within the broader Vietnam. Make sure you go hungry as there is so much to eat. Food was flavourful and each time we sat down we were also provided with something to drink,…..whether beer, fruit juice, water, sugar cane bawd drink etc We will without a doubt recommend this tour.
