The very best way to see the tunnels from Ho Chi Minh City. While the boat leaves relatively early (8 or 9AM), it's a fast, pleasant journey upriver allowing you to beat the crowds and see the tunnels in a relaxed atmosphere. And Mr. Chi, our experienced guide, was as good as it gets in providing a small-group, guided tour of everything there while knowledgeably answering all our questions. A little more expensive than some other options, but honestly, what more could you ask for?

Travelled by speedboat which took an hour to visit the Cu Chi tunnels. We were lucky to only have one other couple on our tour and the speedboat was a great way to see the countryside from the river. Our tour guide Mr Chi was exceptional and highly recommend you ask for him if you do this tour. He was very knowledgeable and highly entertaining and shared some of his own stories growing up. Once at the Cu Chi tunnels, he ensured that our small group did not wait for anything as it gets extremely busy as the day progresses. Recommend you take the early morning 8am trip to avoid crowds. Brilliant day!

Much better transport to get to the tunnels. Our guide vas very informative. Enjoyed it immensely. The only part I didn’t like was the gunfire. Food was pleasant enough

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. Mr. Chi was very energetic and organized during what could be a very long, hot, crowded day. I appreciated his energy and the perspective he gave to us. I think the speedboat was definitely a more fun way to see a different side of the city while not waiting in traffic. The boat can get a little cramped but Mr. Chi suggested some of us move to the front to stretch out more and enjoy the sights which helped out a lot. The lunch was fine as well. Cu Chi tunnels is definitely an important place to visit it can just be crowded, and this tour makes the best out of trying to avoid the crowds as much as possible.
