5.00Absolutely amazing food tour. We have done several tours with Happy and each of them were different. We ate in very local restaurants and streets - we would never have found these ourselves. It was great to hear about the history of the food or the restaurant. Zipping around Saigon on a moped is lots of fun and you really do feel like you have the local experience. All drivers and guides have wonderful english - and are very friendly. They even accommodated a very picky and fussy child. One of the highlights was fried ice-cream! Thanks again Happy for a wonderful and memorable tour.

5.00This tour was so fun and one of the highlights of our trip. None of our family (including a 15 year old) has ever ridden a scooter, let alone in a busy city like HCMC and we had the time of our lives being whisked around and marveling at the scenery, traffic and the adventure of it all. I won't spoil the tour but we were really surprised about where they took us and would never ever have found the neighborhoods and food spots they showed us. All the food was incredibly delicious and I especially loved chatting with with my scooter driver while she was zipping me around and learning more about her life. All the guides were outstanding and so informative and truly loved what they were doing and sharing it with others. We felt like on some other tours we took the guides were overworked and not always helpful, but the guides on this tour were so enthusiastic and fun-loving (without overdoing it)!!

5.00Brilliant local knowledge with a lot of interesting facts and snippets of history shared. Lucky and white our guides were brilliant. So much fun zipping around the traffic/city. A great chance to see so much in a short space of time. And enjoy some amazing local food. With everything explained about what you’re actually eating. Our tour had some rain which if anything added to the experience.

5.00We were a group of 6 Colombians sharing an unforgettable experience with the coolest team in Vietnam. They taught us so much about local history and gastronomy in a fun, engaging, and authentic way. They were incredibly flexible and kind, especially because some of us weren’t feeling well. They adapted the tour to our dietary needs and made sure we were comfortable at all times, which meant a lot to us. If you’re looking for a sign to book this tour — this is it. P.S. 5.00There are a lot of Saigon food tours to choose from, and I wasn't sure if this would be worth it given it is a little pricier than the other options. But I didn't want to be relegated to only food in District 1, and I liked that this tour gave the opportunity to see other districts, so I chose this one. And I am SO glad I did!! Our family of 5 were greeted at our hotel by Happy and Star and three other guides, who then led us to our first stop where we met up with another couple for our evening tour. All the stops were great - they were clear we wouldn't get banh mi or pho given we can easily find that on any corner, or back home in the US - so it was nice being able to enjoy other food options like banh xeo, nuoc xo, banh cuon, com tam, and trang mieng. There was a bun dish I had never been exposed to in all my years living in Little Saigon as a Vietnamese-American that I thought was delicious! My kids were 12 and 14 and originally grumbled about a 4-5 hour tour but the time passed by so quickly that they didn't even realize that much time passed when the tour was over. I was nervous that my mom (almost 70) would be scared being on the back of a motorbike, but her driver was so good that she made it through the tour with ease. (On the flip side, my husband's driver seemed new so there was a lot of jerking involved so my husband didn't have as good of an experience riding around.) I only wished we had more time in Saigon so we could experience their other tours. (They did give us great recommendations in Danang, which was our next stop, and was spot on.) 100% would recommend this tour company - it's worth the cost for the unique experience!

5.00Our family enjoyed Happy and all of the tour guides with Saigon Happy Tours. We had a blast riding on the scooters thru Saigon and enjoying delicious Vietnamese food. We also did a cooking class with Happy and his mom and his home. They welcomed us into their own kitchen and taught us so much about cooking the Vietnamese way. Lastly we enjoyed exploring the Cu Chi Tunnels with Happy as our guide. He is an expert in the war and gave us a lot to think about. I highly recommend using Happy’s company to explore Saigon.
