This was a vegetarian tour, around the city on scooters. The guides were great and friendly, and we had more than enough food. We did five stops and lots of city touring too!

Amazing experience with enthusiastic and genuine young people as our guides. They brought us to explore places which were legitimately crowded with local people and few tourists. Food was great and the whole tour was well thought out with no hiccups. Will return for their other tours.

We went on a fantastic Cu Chi Tunnels tour with Kyle. His banter was great, but most impressive was his vast amount of historical knowledge. The longer tunnels could potentially be challenging for those with average fitness levels, but were eye-opening knowing that people had to live for months underground in even worse conditions during the war. We also went on an amazing Zero Tourist Food Tour with Star, who was a delight. She took us to hidden gems known only to locals, including some personal favourite foods she experienced during her upbringing. It was a genuine local experience, and the highlight of my time in Saigon.

Happy's Zero Tourist Food Tour was the highlight of my trip! I visited Vietnam with my girlfriend in January for a week and it just so happened to be POURING rain on the day of the tour. We considered cancelling, but are so glad we didn't! Our guides were very accomodating--they picked us up on scooters and had rain poncho's prepared for us. They were also super friendly! We first went to a spot where we ate a delicious meatball soup with banh mi. It was so simple, yet one of the best things I had during our trip (and that's saying a lot!). From there we hit up several other spots, each in a different district of Ho Chi Minh. We ate duck noodles, broken rice, serveral appetizers and snacks, and topped it off with a refreshing dessert--make sure you go hungry! The food was amazing, but my favorite part of the tour was our guides. They were so much fun to chat with throughout the tour and provided helpful information. While we drove from district to district, my guide would point out places that were worth checking out and had great tips for how to pick the best places to eat and hang out. It was also incredibly gratifying to learn about the history and culture of each district we went to from the perspective of a local. I felt like experienced Vietnam in a way I couldn't have otherwise. 1000% recommend to anyone who loves to eat and is looking for a deeper experience than the usual tourist stuff!

I really cannot recommend Happy's zero tourist food tour enough! From start to finish, everything about Happy's tour was easy, friendly and professional. It was very simple to book our preferred date/time on their website and we were quickly reached out to by Mimi on Whatsapp to confirm details. Mimi even included an additional list of food recommendations around Saigon, from the best coconut coffee to bahn mi, as well as tips on where to get the best rates for exchange currency and recommended apps to pay and get around the city. Super helpful! On the day of our tour, it was pouring rain but Mimi messaged me to let me know ponchos would be provided! My boyfriend and I were picked up outside our hotel by our tour guides Dave and Phi. They helped us put on our ponchos and helmets and we rode on their mopeds to our first food stop. Dave and Phi were very safe drivers and always checked in to see if we were comfortable and if the speed was ok. We chatted a lot and they were so funny and nice! We got to learn a lot about the city as we drove so it was like a city tour in addition to a food tour! We stopped at 6 food spots in total and each one was so delicious. Our tour group only had 4 people - it's 1 tour guide per person, so it was 8 people in total. It felt very nice and intimate, nothing like those big commercial tour groups. What was impressive was that every stop was filled with ONLY locals eating (I don't think we saw a single foreigner at any of our stops). My favorite meal was the xiu mai which was a tender meatball in really flavorful soup. They were also all hidden away in small alleys with lots of twists and turns, so it would be impossible to find if you didn't know your way around. Some of our guides even picked up extra food from street vendors like fried banana along the way at no extra cost to us (even though it technically wasn't included in our schedule) just so we could try more things. The guides taught us how to pronounce all the dishes and showed us how to eat them. We were so full before the tour was over that we even took some food back to the hotel in to go boxes. We laughed and talked so much that it really felt like eating with a group of friends. We were sad to have to say bye at the end! Happy's tour was easily the highlight of our stay in Vietnam and we can't wait to go back and do a different tour. We've even recommended it to all of our friends incase they ever visit. Thank you for the amazing tour!

Best tour experience around. Kyle was an absolute pleasure, he took us around and inside the Cu Chi Tunnels, made us laugh and his knowledge of Vietnam's history was phenomenal. 10/10 would recommend Saigon Happy Tours!

Saigon Happy's food tours were a truly unique experience and one of the highlights of my trip. Happy and Helen are knowledgable and passionate about showing another side of the city - we went to neighborhoods and tried foods I would never have found on my own and they made it all really fun. They're a small tour company and every tour is made thoughtfully to ensure a memorable experience. Thank you Helen and Happy!

Exceptional! We combined 2 tours, the city tour and the zero tourist tour, privatizing it. Amazing experience! The agency is great. Hyper flexible and responsive. Departure 2pm, return 8.30pm for an incredible experience. Everything was perfect. Discovery of the city and its history by scooter with 2 guides, Helen and Vic, speaking perfect English [which is not won in Saigon ..], hypers nice and considerate. Amazing scooter riders in alleys, very safe in a completely crazy environment..As for discovering the kitchen lives..A treat! Anyway, hurry!

Amazing zero tourist food tour with Star, Tin and others! They picked us up from our hotel, helped us get acquainted with riding as a passenger. So much fun and so interesting travelling through the alleyways in the hidden parts of Saigon. The food was incredible, definitely start with an empty stomach, loved the prawn and pork pancake cups. Star told us all about living and growing up in Saigon and she was so informative about all the food and cooking! When we booked this tour they sent us loads of information about what sites to visit, other local restaurants/cafes which was so helpful for us when we first arrived. We are still talking about this tour, if you want to sit at tiny tables and eat the best food with the locals this is definitely recommended! We booked this on our first night, would say to book this early in your Saigon trip as they help you navigate and understand Saigon like a local. Thank you Star and Tin!

We had a fabulous evening with the Saigon Happy Tour team. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgable. I was nervous at first about riding on the back of a scooter but they navigated the streets with ease. We got to try a variety of different foods from several different districts. I would highly recommend this experience!
