What To Expect

Hobart

Depart Hobart at 9:45 am and head east across the Tasman Bridge to the Coal Valley wine region – this is one of the largest wine-growing areas in southern Tasmania. Visit at least four cellar doors from the following: Pooley Wines, Everyman & His Dog, Frogmore Creek Wines, Nocton Vineyard, Riversdale Estate. Arriving back to Hobart between 2:30 – 2:45 pm *Tour operates with a minimum of two people. *We recommend consuming a decent breakfast/brunch before commencing this tour. Collection and return Cheese platter Wine tastings

Driver Dale was knowledgeable and friendly and all venues not too far from Hobart . Pick and drop to cruise ship was smooth wineries were all different and lovely . Great way of meeting and interacting with a small group of travellers and seeing beautiful Tasmania

Excellent organization, location of the beautiful cellars although not all correspond to the program, we loved the paddle duck cellar less last stop the cellar Every man and his dog, in our opinion you can avoid the bad chocolate the wine too.

Tour was lovely, as advertised. Take the advice and eat a hearty breakfast. The chocolaore & wine pairing at A Man and His dog winery was the highlight. They make some amazing chocolates. Overall, a fun outing on a beautiful day.
Highly recommended. Lots of fun. Paul is a great host.

The mini van was perfect for the 6 people who were in our tour. We headed into the country, and our guide did a great job of explaining the wine region. We stopped at 4 wineries and each one had unique characteristics. Frogmore creek winery had a big souvenir section, as well as good wines. Pooley winery had a table set for us and offered 6 or 7 tastings. We drove thru the town of Richmond famous for an old bridge and then Nocton winery gave us charcuterie boards filled with cheeses, crackers and fruit. It was delicious. Our last stop paired wines with chocolates that were made on-site. It was a great day!

Great mix of people and selection of wineries, particularly the smaller boutique ones with interesting wines. While Viator seemed to have lost my booking, upon contacting the tour company direct they were still happy to get me on the tour.

Great day Dave our driver and guide was amazing he explained the history of each of the wineries we visited and of the area and wine and spirit production in Tasmania. Highly recommend this small group tour
