What To Expect

Hobart

Depart Hobart at 9:45 am and head east across the Tasman Bridge to the Coal Valley wine region – this is one of the largest wine-growing areas in southern Tasmania. Visit at least four cellar doors from the following: Pooley Wines, Everyman & His Dog, Frogmore Creek Wines, Nocton Vineyard, Riversdale Estate. Arriving back to Hobart between 2:30 – 2:45 pm *Tour operates with a minimum of two people. *We recommend consuming a decent breakfast/brunch before commencing this tour. Collection and return Cheese platter Wine tastings

An excellent day. Dave our driver was not only extremely knowledgeable, friendly but he was so accommodating. We had a great day visiting 4 wineries. Our highlight was Nocton winery great cheese platter, beautiful wines served by the fantastic Laura as well as every man and his dog - wine and chocolate tasting was such an awesome experience. We would absolutely recommend this tour.

Could reduce the amount of wine tastings in each winery. We were rushed at the end of our day. Bus driver Andy was very good and safe.

We had a private car with our driver Andy, he was great friendly and easy to talk to. It was just myself and my husband. We stopped at 4 wineries all were close to each other and all the wines were fantastic. Would highly reconmed using this company

We were very disappointed with our Apple Isle Wine Tour. The driver arrived late without notice or apology, offered no commentary, and rushed us through each stop. His irritated attitude — including muttering under his breath and hovering to hurry guests — made the experience uncomfortable. We had little time to enjoy the wineries or make purchases. Having done many wine tours in Australia and overseas, this one fell well below expectations and lacked the relaxed, engaging experience we’d anticipated.

Unfortunately a wonderful experience at some local wineries was diminished by a driver who didn’t interact, had no personality and rushed us. Andy really dampened the mood of the group, and we would have liked to have purchased some wine but felt as though we had no time to do so as we were rushed off to the next stop.

This wine tour gives you a glimpse into wine county in Tasmania. It was me and my husband with a group of 8 total, which was small and great as we got to know everyone in the group. Dave was our tour guide and driver, and he was patient. They take you to 4 wineries all with wine included (1 winery includes a cheese board to share with the group and 1 winery includes chocolate pairing with your wine). It was a great experience and we had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend for a half a day tour!

Greg was a great tour operator/driver. There were 5 of us on the tour, he made us all feel welcome. Each winery was very different, each with friendly staff and the scenery in the Coal River Valley was beautiful. I'd recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hobart.
