While the actual bus hop on hop off was a wonderful experience allowing us to see the beautiful city of Hobart we feel that the experience was a little disappointing as far as the actual boarding of the bus. We waited over an hour in the queue to board the bus. We appreciate that everyone hot of the boat at the same time and there was a very high demand for this type of transport but perhaps you should make people aware of the wait times involved even after paying for a service upfront. We had people in the queue who didn’t even have tickets purchased yet board the bus before us and have led up the queue discussing that they should get on the bus as they spent 1 hour waiting. I suggest there should be a disclaimer made to make prospective passengers aware that just because you paid upfront doesn’t guarantee that you will actually get a set time journey

Great tour, informative comentary. The driver's jokes were a bit much, but I will give him points for trying. Perfect way to get around Hobart and see the lay of the land. Would definitely reccomend stopping at the Botanic Gardens, absolutely beautiful.

Audio in German is hard to hear, as the English narration is played via the bus speakers. The audio transmission was stopped or stopped a few times too early. The highlights of the city mostly within walking distance was not much new for us. Hourly journeys are too long for me to have desirably faster boarding times.

Steve was amazing. Very informative, friendly, well organised and safe driver! Chocolate and Lavender stops were also informative, Port Arthur is a very interesting piece of history.

Limited operating hours. Last bus is 3pm. Should run longer especially during summer. Good for one day if you want a quick look at sights.

We took this bus as we had docked at Hobart during a cruise. The stops were straightforward to find, the frequency was good, and the commentary was interesting. My only comment is the pricing. There were better deals available to people booking on the day.

Great experience. The driver and the recorded messages were both very clear and easy to hear. We took the one from the city to the cascades brewery and ended up walking back to the city. One disadvantage is that the buses stop operating at 3 with the final circuit finishing at 4. We found that to be a little early. At least until 6pm would be good.

It was a good start with this City tour before booking other tours. This gave us a brief insight of Tasmania’s rich heritage.
