This was my second time visiting Hobart, but my first experience on the hop-on hop-off bus—and I was genuinely surprised! The route took my partner and me to places we’d never seen before, and the guide’s commentary brought each stop to life with fascinating historical insights. Whether it’s your first visit or you’ve been before, this tour is a fantastic way to discover more of Hobart.

The good points: - the driver was friendly - the recorded commentary was interesting (when we could hear it) - the route gave a great overview of the city area. The negatives: - the driver made a few old-school sexist jokes during his additional commentary which went over well with a couple of old blokes but made a few younger women visibly uncountable - It was raining too much to sit outside, and inside were a couple of people who spoke very loudly over the commentary the entire way - there is a comparatively long wait at the second stop (the pier) - I’d recommend getting on there instead of the visor centre to avoid this

This is always a go to thing for me when visiting a new city. This tour gave a lot of insight about Hobart and the route was interesting. It wasn’t too long and very good timings for bus pick ups on the route. The driver and commentary were great. The 2 day pass was good value and allowed a more relaxed pace to see things. The Cascade Brewery and Botanical gardens are definitely worth stopping at. Worth doing.

We arrived 3/9 and paid for a 48 hour pass. We hopped on our first time after 11.00 am. The overhead speakers gives a great description of what’s around us, and this information can be translated in 5 other languages too. Our pass was added to my iPhone wallet, but I noticed it came off after 24 hours and when I tried to reload it, I couldn’t. Great service for tourists but I think there’s a glitch in the passes

Always a good way to get your bearings in a new city, or one you haven't been to in over 10 years. Our driver, Paul, was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with some of those hints and tips to get the most out of a wonderful city. We also did the Richmond add on trip and spent an amazing 3 hours wondering around a beautiful small town. Lots to see and do, value for money might not be the best but they make up for it with their service and knowledge.

Booked this for my dad whilst I went to hike wineglass bay and he had a great day on the hop off hop off bus. Stops at multiple stops around the city. You're also provided with a map aswell of the stops and sites to see. In the book provided there's also some little discount coupons too that came in handy for some other attractions or places to eat. Would recommend.
