Such a beautiful set. Went for partners birthday. Both huge LOTR fans. Guide was very knowledgeable. Still had space between tours, so didn't feel cramped or closed in.

Jeoff was an amazing driver and guide! Went the extra kilometer on all fronts. Hobbiton is an incredible place. High craft and service at every turn. Highly recommend!

We booked this tour to avoid driving a long distance after traveling for 27 hours and it was much better than expected. Simon was an amazing host who engaged all 14 passengers in our small van and he kept conversation going through a wealth of knowledge about New Zealand and its economy, people and history. While my wife and I enjoyed the movies, we aren't super-fans, but we still thought the Hobbiton was fantastic. Our guide, Ellie, was incredibly knowledgeable about the movie and how they made it, throwing out so many interesting facts and explanations it was hard not to be enthused about it all. She took us through the entire Shire which included a tour inside a well-furnished hobbit hole. The lamb burger at the cafe was the best burger I've ever had and the mug of ale at the end of the tour was likewise very good. Overall a well-organized and great experience from start to finish and a great way to spend our first day in New Zealand; I highly recommend the event, the guides, and Cheeky Kiwi Travel.

It was a wonderful experience. There are some steep sections, so if you have mobility issues it's a little rough. It was worth it though.
