5.00Todd, our driver, possesses excellent knowledge of the tour. James, our tour guide, is wonderful and humorous, ensuring there are no dull moments. While some individuals on the bus found his accent challenging to understand due to differing backgrounds, it posed no issue for our group as we share a similar background and are colleagues and friends. We had no difficulties with James as our tour leader. Perhaps those with language difficulties could utilize their mobile accessibility features for assistance. Our entire tour was great, though some individuals who joined the bus from different locations occupied our seats, which we understand operates on a first-come, first-served basis. However, we were the first group to wait at the bus pick-up origin. I would suggest that those joining the bus should occupy available seats rather than those already taken. Nevertheless, Todd, our driver, resolved the situation, and we remained in our seats. The buffet food was exceptionally good and delicious. Overall, our trip was excellent, thanks to Driver Todd and Tour Guide James.

4.00The experience is unforgettable. I'm not a big fan of triologies or books ... but my friend SI! Our driver/guide was cultured and shared this knowledge with us all the way by bus. On the spot we had Keith as a guide! Really amazing!! My boyfriend was very surprised at all the references to the film he could make. As a non-fan, it was a nice walk until we got to the moment where we could explore the interior of the houses!! It really won me over. Lunch is a hearty buffet, good without more. But we only had 45 minutes of meals... which I find relatively short. I recommend it is a must to do in New Zealand:)

5.00Lord of the Rings was too long ago, can't really remember the storyline. But our tour with you to the movie set won't be forgotten anytime soon. Thank you for a good time Dave, who is super informative and genuinely knowledgeable in what he is sharing. You made the difference! We are lucky to be guided by a fan of The Hobbit when it's time to tour the ground of Hobbiton; Rob who lead us along 'the Middle Earth' and let us oohh enjoying "a morning to be good on".

5.00There are several tours of Hobbit village, but I applied for this tour because the fact that I could eat in the village was attractive. If you don't understand English, put the app in advance so that the Japanese guide will be displayed anywhere. However, of course there is more density in what the guides tell us. I was impressed by the way it was made to look like a real Hobbit living on a vast expanse of lush green as far as the eye can see. The small items in the building are also detailed, but I took a lot of photos because they are Hobbit size. The food, taste and atmosphere are irresistible. It was a very satisfying tour. It was also helpful to me that when I became ill the night before and asked for a change, they responded immediately.
I want to live there!

5.00Such a beautiful place. Gorgeously landscaped. We got to walk through an adorable hobbit hole. The detail was phenomenal. I want to live there. A MUST SEE for every Tolkien fan.
