4.0Tour Guide at Hobbiton was very knowledgeable and helpful. Amazing area and loved all the back stories on the history of the building process and movie tidbits etc. Great lunch..very well thought out for everyone's dietary needs. Only negative was the 5 hour round trip bus ride from Auckland. But David our bus driver kept us entertained with factoids of scenery and history of the areas we were passing though on our journey.

5.0The tour guides — bus driver and Hobbiton guide — were excellent. Such an enjoyable day. We never felt rushed through. Lunch was huge and delicious, no need for dinner afterwards.

5.0Really felt like you are in middle earth with the hobbits! Realistic Fantabulous lunch buffet as well! Bring raincoats or umbrellas, in October it rains one minute, then shines the next.

5.0Loved all areas of the tour. Lunch was also very good with good variety of food. Tour guide very good and tour allowed us to take time to view certain aspects of the hobbit town.
