Really enjoyed our time with Nancy our tour guide. She was also extremely knowledgeable about the Maori culture. We first heded to Hobbiton which was a really good experience and then to Waitomo caves. We did stop to look at Ostriches and Emus, we also saw some eels and had some fantastic NZ ice cream. All in all a very good experience, would definitely recommend touring with Nancy. Eric and Pri USA

Henrik was a great driver and gave very interesting commentary during the drive. Access to both locations was facilitated by his knowledge and efficiency. For lunch we stopped at a small town (Ōtorohanga) where we had approximately 30 minutes to get a bite. There were several options. Door to door our tour was about 12 hours.

Hobbiton was as awesome as expected. The Waitomo caves were amazing too. Bus trip always going to be long but well driven by Henrik and he gave a good commentary along the way.
Well organised day with excellent informative driver Henrick. Hobbiton very pretty and glowworms stunning.

Early start but worthwhile trip. Well organised and Auckland & Beyond were in touch for start times & meeting points. Henrick, driver, very knowledgeable about NZ and managed group well and with humour. Hobbiton lovely place and the glowworms were stunning

This was a great excursion in every way - small group, very comfortable van and fun destinations and our guide, Nancy, put it over the top with all that she added to the trip. Learned so much about the sites along the way, Máori culture and amazing stories about her experiences in New Zealand! She went above and beyond!

Nancy was a great guide! Her stories were fun, she pointed out so many things along the way, she made a long drive seem much shorter, and she even pulled over to let us feed an Emu:-) She gave clear directions so we never felt hurried or lost. She was always visible during the transitions times between tours and gathering back on the bus. It was truly a wonderful day! I’m so glad we chose A&B Tours rather than going on our own.
