Our guide, Anastasia, was knowledgeable and conveyed a great deal of that knowledge despite major challenges posed by huge holiday crowds. The tour goes through many pretty small rooms, and your groups share the tight spaces with other guests, many of them with audio guides. It was sometimes difficult to keep up. But the spaces are worth seeing.

We had Siri as our tour guide for this review and she was absolutely amazing. We’d select tours that were specifically by her for the experience again. One thing that we weren’t aware of, and this may have been due to our not paying attention, but about 50% of this tour is outdoors (1 and a half hours) before entering the Sisi museum. As such, you should plan accordingly as we did this tour in December and it was cold and windy (which we had planned for) but there will be a lot of standing around outside. If doing this tour during the summer we’d recommend sunscreen and lots of water. Once you are in the Sisi museum there are portions of it that are quite narrow so make sure to pack lightly, or be ready to carry items in your hands close to you. Overall, what made this tour special was our tour guide Siri. She must have talked non-stop for the whole three hours while providing excellent insight and answering any questions that we may have had. Easily the best tour guide we have had in ages.

This tour is really worth it. We learned a lot about Sisi. Siri has superbly directed the tour and explained everything great. What I liked best was that Siri did it in such a way that it was really very entertaining and she brought the tour to life. I can only recommend it!
