Great trip! Train was canceled due to no fault of the tour Agency. Torva made extra stops and made the trip enjoyable. Scotland is beautiful. Torva made many stops for photo ops.

Despite the train plan changing, I had an excellent time. There were many stops in small towns and at historic points that I would’ve never thought of without a guided tour. Our guide, Torva, was very knowledgeable on the land and history and had an entertaining way to share his knowledge with the group that made it lighthearted and fun. I also thought his jokes were funny

Despite the fact that the train was unfortunately cancelled due to technical problems (2 weeks long) it was an incredibly fun day! Our tour guide was passionate about everything there is to say about Scotland, the food, sports, folklore, history, nature, famous places and you name it. Apart from Scotland being an incredibly beautiful country, our guide really made the tour.

I had a fabulous time during this tour. Unfortunately we couldn’t go on the Jacobite steam train ride as it got cancelled but nonetheless each stop made up for it. Our bus driver, Connor was very informative about local history and added some humorous flair to it. I particularly enjoyed the views surrounding the Glenfinnan Viaduct and Loch Shiel and also enjoyed our lunch stop in Mallaig. Overall, a wonderful day trip filled with local history stories, gorgeous views and comfortable bus seating.

We had a great day with Laurie! She was entertaining and informative and made sure that she got us to each location before the other buses. At the end of the day, she made room for an extra stop. Wonderful tour with a great host.

Charlie was the best tour guide I think I could have ever dreamt up. Her accent alone is the perfect sound to narrate for hours through the highlands. Great bus driver and made us feel safe through the twists and turns. Couldn’t recommend this trip more. Stops were great. Price point is more than reasonable. Cheers to the Harry Potter fans. The tour points out all the cool areas from the movies as well.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Firstly, the bus that took us to Mallaig was very comfortable; not a trivalality when you consider that the day is some 13hrs long. Our driver Paul was amazing with informative commentary and in-depth knowledge about the Highlands in general. We also really appreciated the number breaks he afforded and the spots he stopped at for amazing photo ops. From Mallaig you take the Jacobite Train back to Fort William. Along the way you get to take in the many sights made famous by the Harry Potter films, chief amongst which is undoubtedly the Glen Finnan viaduct. On the way back to Edinburgh we passed through Glencoe and again were treated to some of the majestic scenery Scotland has to offer. All in all it was an awesome experience and one that is easy to recommend to anyone short on time and wanting to get a taste of the Highlands.
