My Son Sanctuary
Between the 4th and 13th centuries a unique culture which owed its spiritual origins to Indian Hinduism developed on the coast of contemporary Viet Nam. This is graphically illustrated by the remains of a series of impressive tower-temples located in a dramatic site that was the religious and political capital of the Champa Kingdom for most of its existence.
The Marble Mountains
Just off the Danang Beach coastal road, the Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son) consist of five craggy marble outcrops topped with pagodas. Each mountain is named for the natural element it’s said to represent: Thuy Son (Water), Moc Son (Wood), Hoa Son (Fire), Kim Son (Metal or Gold) and Tho Son (Earth).

Wow what an amazing experience. Probably the most unique experience in my 30 years of travel. Learning the culture and seeing the local artisans in action was so special especially as unfortunately it is a dying tradition. I was extremely thankful to our tour guides and the locals for welcoming us into their home.

The 4am tour is one everyone should take up. It has been a privilege to have someone like Ha, our tour guide, show us the real Hoi An. His witty character and genuine care for the community is one that struck our hearts. If you are to spend some money, this is where it should be :)

The trip to Hoi A would have never been the same without a tour with Ha. We really appreciated his knowledge and his passion for his country and his hometown. Thank you so much for opening up the curtain on the life of locals, showing us some lovely hidden spots and mostly for your energy ❤️

I had an amazing time and did so many things during this tour. We went to a wood workshop and i craved my name. I saw how silk was made, did pottery and also made a lantern. I did so many other things to list everything , It was so such much fun to do a lot of activities and learn a lot of things. Then we walked around the center of Hoi an to learn about the architecture and history of the city. Thanks to my tour guide James who explained everything so well and made this tour unforgettable for me! I really recommend to book this tour if you come to Hoi an. It was the best !!

Ha is an amazing tour guide and he showed us the best Vietnam we could dream of. This is something so unique and definitely the best tour (not turistic) that we took. Thanks to Ha and his riders for these memories we would bring home with us!

The moment we shared with Ha and all the people we met thanks to him was beyond expectation. Ha is doing a major work to preserve Hoi An tradition. You have to book with him. What you will learn is nothing about tourism, this is real Life. How vietnamese people are sharing, working, living as a community , all linked together. And thanks to Ha, you will witness this and somewhat, contribute to the preservation of those tradition. Ha, you are not a tourist guide. You are a storyteller , key actor of your cultur and tradition. Keep going ! We wish you the best.
