We had a wonderful time riding motorcycles to the market and coconut boats. We helped cook a lovely meal with Tam: Papaya salad, chicken noodles, onion pancakes, grilled egg plant and Caramelized bananas. Definitely recommend.

We had a great morning with Tam. He took us through the local market before we went crab fishing on the coconut boat. The cooking class was fun and we got to try some dishes that we hadn’t seen. Tam was a great guide ⭐️

This excursion was great, but be prepared for motorbike rides! It started a bit slow with a walk through the market. Seeing the raw meat was not my favorite. Then we went by motorbike to a coconut boat. Our guide is still improving his English, so it was a bit hard to understand what was coming next, which made riding off on motorbikes a little unsettling, but we ended up where we needed to go with no issues. A different man, who spoke no English, paddled the coconut boat while our guide stayed behind. He was hysterical, singing, spinning the boat, teaching us to crab. He expected a tip at the end of the boat ride, though, so have some small cash available. After that was a short motorbike ride to the guide's house for the cooking class. This was the smoothest part of the excursion. The guide is clearly a skilled chef, and he was much more confident here. The food was delicious. Drinks can be purchased for cash, so, again, be prepared with some small bills. The excursion ended with a motorbike ride back to town. While the other rides had been fairly leisurely, this one was fast and aggressive as we swerved through rush hour traffic. But the drivers were skillful, and we made it in one piece! Very happy to have chosen this excursion!

We had the best time with Tam! From the market tour where he explained all the local things to buy, to the coconut basket rider Yong which had the best smile and humor, to the meticulous cooking class! We really enjoyed all of it. Take this as a sign to book this tour!

The overall experience was amazing! We got picked up by Tam from our hotel by a motorbike! It was my wife’s first motorbike experience and she had fun! We went to the local market where we bought fresh vegetables and fruits for our cooking class. Then went straight to the coconut boat experience with crab fishing! :D Then after that straight to the cooking class! Tam took a lot of great photos and videos for us. Everything was amazing!

Really good experience really genuine and local don’t be alarmed if they take you 20-25 minutes out into the boonies that is just where the tour is the chef was lovely and the food was good and the coconut boat was fun we saw lots of crabs but didn’t catch any definitely a more quiet river but it meant we got to see and chat with other local on boats which was super fun. We also got to walk through the market to buy the food for our meal which was very unique and I’m very glad we did it

An excellent morning out for a great price! I was a little nervous initially as I was by myself, but soon felt at ease Yam showed me round the market and a wood carving workshop before heading to the river for a coconut boat trip and crab fishing! Then for the cooking course where I made 4 lovely dishes! Highly recommend

There were just the two of us, and Tam (the chef) and a friend of his picked us up on motorcycles. After a 10–15 minute ride, they dropped us off at the bamboo boat. To be honest, we didn’t need the boat ride, but it was still calming since there was no one else on the river. Afterwards, Tam picked us up again and we drove to the cooking class. The recipes and instructions were great, and the food tasted delicious. We especially liked the fact that we cooked recipes that weren’t widely available at restaurants or food stalls in the city. Thank you to Tam for being a good instructor. At the end, you can choose to be dropped back at your hotel or at the night market.
