What To Expect

A fun and interesting way to experience the rural life in Hoi An and Vietnamese cuisine. What You will do You will be picked up by local tour guides at the hotel or our meeting point Bebe tailor . And take you to the Hoian colorful market.They will help you to comunicate with the local traders in the market and show you how to select and buy the good quaility food for the cooking class after that. The tour continue from the market directly on to the bamboo basket boat on the canals of the Nipa forest.You will be immersed in the natural beauty of the Nipa palm coconut forest and enjoy crab fishing.This is so cool! You have a chance to contemplate the river beauty in the countryside of Vietnam,the traditional way of catching fish as well as the lives of the hospitable fishermen here.This special moment will afford you the opportunity to take unforgettable pictures Vietnam rural scenes and people. After such eco-tour activities, you will be welcomed in the restaurant and participate in cooking around 2 hours with our chef.cooking recipe is ready for you after cooking class,you can recreate its at home.

Michael and Tam were amazing hosts for the cooking class & fishing boat trip in the coconut village. We learned all about local produce and food in the markets, tried fishing for crabs & snapper and made 5 incredible dishes! Michael was super knowledgeable about the dishes and Tam was an excellent motorbike driver! Highly recommend! A++

The tour was very good and definitely worth it. We went on a bamboo boat and it was fun. The best part was the cooking class with an experienced chef. We made delicious food and there was plenty to eat. I highly recommend it.

The company reached out and arranged to pick us up at our hotel which was not on the list. I recommend closed shoes for the market tour! The bamboo boat ride was fun and we tried to catch small crabs. We even got to paddle! Chef Tam was an excellent instructor, even passing on knife skills. Our 5 course meal was more than we could eat. The cao loa noodles and the mushroom pancake were the tastiest of the 5 dishes. WC stops were provided. Bring cash for the market or drinks with lunch and tips.

The guides and boat drivers were so friendly and helpful. The chef in the cooking class was excellent. We also rode a motorcycle which was fun.

A fabulous experience: market shopping, drive to the village, bamboo boat and crab fishing (I almost caught one!) and then our cooking class. Chef Tam gave great instruction and helped us make a fabulous 5 course meal. So tasty.

A beautiful experience with a local and private tour (only 7 people) away from mass tourist experiences. Everything was perfect, with a real chef (Tam) and we achieved everything. Really delicious! We highly recommend!

Well worth it. The market experience is informative, the coconut boat ride fun (but don't get your hopes up about catching a crab!) and the cooking school is excellent with some really tasty dishes produced.

Great time! The market, the bamboo boat ride and especially the cooking class were all great. Chef Tam is an excellent cook and teacher. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
