Dee was our guide and she did a great job! It rained and was blowing a gale at times but they still allowed the tour to go ahead. We received a packed lunch which was very good. The electric bikes were very comfortable and in excellent condition. Due to the very heavy rain the gorge water was stirred up so not a clear turquoise but that was just a timing thing. My wife and I were the only 2 on the trip. There are a few points where you have to ride on the road but majority is off road and on the wilderness trail. Some of the track (possibly as issue for us due to the rain) was tight turns and some steep drops on the side so be mindful if taking children. We really enjoyed the experience.

The team at Kiwi Journeys were very helpful planning our first trip (the Gorge on Cycle and Scenery self-guided day tour), then provided an excellent briefing and e-bike setup upon arrival. The van ride to the Gorge walk was itself very pleasant viewing. The Gorge walk was spectacular and Ben was an informative and engaging guide. It was cool to get an insight into some of the traditional bush tucker available along the walk and learn about those plants. It was a seamless transition to the e-bike part of the day thanks to Ben. A really amazing ride through very diverse landscape, including (my favourite) the quite narrow water races with its lush native bush. Thank you Kiwi Journeys. So much fun we rocked up the next day for another ride!
