Joe was an excellent guide. He gave us a lot of information and took us to a local restaurant with delicious food. He keep asking us if we needed a break and provide tips for transportation and points of interest. He showed us all the sights from central hong kong to Victoria harbor.

Very informative tour with Gary as our tour guide. Great way to see Hong Kong and learn about the history. The tour requires lots of walking so wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water. Frequent toilet breaks were available and Gary was happy to assist 😊

If you want an introduction to this massive, crazy island, this tour is a great place to start. Gary, our guide, met us in the financial district, took us to the former judicial district where we explored Victoria Prison, showed us the thriving Soho district (WARNING: It's steep so, while we used escalators, be prepared to walk on uneven terrain) and explained Tao religion and Hong Kong real estate prices and living conditions. And that was BEFORE lunch, which we enjoyed at a Dim Sum restaurant. After lunch we boarded a ferry over to Kowloon for awesome skyline pics. A few things to be aware of. Check your ticket to see if it includes lunch. I thought it was included but Gary informed me that I hadn't paid for it. I was given the option to eat lunch on my own and join the group later but I opted for lunch. Also, some guests paid for a Peak Tram ticket as part of their booking. I did not. But I opted to buy one. The Peak Tram is not part of the tour; you just get the ticket and use it any time during the day (but ONLY on that day) For both extra charges, I had to pay Gary cash; I could not charge either to my credit card or add it to my booking. Gary provided great transportation tips and even walked us to the MTR at the tour's end and explained how to get back to Hong Kong from Kowloon. Hong Kong can be very intimidating so a little local knowledge goes a long way.

Honestly this was disappointing from the start. I was on a group tour with great people. But everyone booked through different companies and all had different inclusions. I was left to walk around for 1hr during the middle of the tour because this trip did not have said inclusion. Also not much on itinerary to see. Would have been better to walk around by myself. It was very confusing and I missed things I wish I was able to be included in. My other Hong Kong day trip was the same.
