Step aboard Dukling, a truly unique experience unlike any other Hong Kong harbour tour. As the city’s oldest and only original Chinese junk boat, Dukling stands apart from modern replicas—authentically built in 1955 as a fishing vessel and lovingly restored to preserve her legacy after sinking in 2014.
Dukling offers the rare chance to sail on a living piece of history that has witnessed Hong Kong’s dramatic transformation over 70 years. On this small humble boat, guests can enjoy Hong Kong’s world-famous night scenery as the city lights sparkle across the skyline, all in a calm, intimate setting, unlike big, crowded cruises.
More than just a sightseeing trip, Dukling is also a floating museum. Discover original artefacts, historic photos, and fishermen’s tools, and delve into stories and culture through insightful commentary. Whether you crave authentic heritage, relaxation, or breathtaking views, Dukling promises an unforgettable journey through Hong Kong’s past and present.

***Preserving this historic 70‑year‑old Chinese junk boat requires significant resources, which sometimes leads us to feature commercial promotions on the sails. From 3 to 5 April, the sails will display commercial promotions, which may alter their appearance and color from the original iconic red during this period. Please note that the interior of Dukling has also been modified. Rest assured, there will be no change to the sailing route. Thank you for your understanding.***

Beautiful, restored boat. I really enjoyed the commentary at the start, before the spectacular symphony of lights.

I read the reviews…do not join the line when you get there. Wait for the guy with the Dukling sign. Great peaceful little ride. Loved it! No issues!

This was a highlight of our visit to Hong Kong. The opportunity to sail on an authentic junk now restored but retaining its original features should not be missed. We chose the sunset cruise and enjoyed watching the cityscape light up as the sun set. The crew were knowledgeable and friendly. Not to be missed when visiting Hong Kong!

Found a last minute opening during the week. Had a great time. Yeah it’s a little touristy but the experience of going around the Harbour is unmatched!

Super peaceful, romantic and not cheesy or touristy. It was a wonderful way to experience the harbor and it's unique views. As Hong Kong's last authentic junk boat (Dukling was actually used as a fishing junk back in the day), it felt like keeping an iconic piece of Hong Kong history alive, while also getting an unforgettable experience in return! Highly recommended for tourists, couples, or photographers!
