Step aboard Dukling, a truly unique experience unlike any other Hong Kong harbour tour. As the city’s oldest and only original Chinese junk boat, Dukling stands apart from modern replicas—authentically built in 1955 as a fishing vessel and lovingly restored to preserve her legacy after sinking in 2014.
Dukling offers the rare chance to sail on a living piece of history that has witnessed Hong Kong’s dramatic transformation over 70 years. On this small humble boat, guests can enjoy Hong Kong’s world-famous night scenery as the city lights sparkle across the skyline, all in a calm, intimate setting, unlike big, crowded cruises.
More than just a sightseeing trip, Dukling is also a floating museum. Discover original artefacts, historic photos, and fishermen’s tools, and delve into stories and culture through insightful commentary. Whether you crave authentic heritage, relaxation, or breathtaking views, Dukling promises an unforgettable journey through Hong Kong’s past and present.

***Preserving this historic 70‑year‑old Chinese junk boat requires significant resources, which sometimes leads us to feature commercial promotions on the sails. From 23 to 26 March and 3 to 5 April, the sails will display commercial promotions, which may alter their appearance and color from the original iconic red during this period. Please note that the interior of Dukling has also been modified. Rest assured, there will be no change to the sailing route. Thank you for your understanding.***

Easy to understand instructions of where to meet. Everything was on time and quick boarding. We did the evening cruise and should have taken a light jacket as it was a little chilly. Enjoyed the harbour light show.

Wonderful experience on Dukling. Beautiful Junk, very friendly and accommodating staff. Completely our mistake but we mixed up booking dates and missed our tour. Dukling staff couldn’t have been more helpful and rearranged our trip on another date - thank you so much 🙏

Great experience on this boat. We went on the evening trip with the Hong Kong symphony of lights. Even though the weather wasn’t great the boat allowed us to see the lights from the harbour really well. The crew were very helpful and the boat was atmospheric, such beautiful red sails! Would recommend:)

It was a great experience to see the Light Show in the harbour from the water and aboard a Chinese Junk was even better.

Had to stay seated on the floor on a Matt all trip. That was uncomfortable and could only see out one side of the boat. Rendering the light show not enjoyable. When wanted to stand up and walk about the "crew" helper will insist on us getting back on the floor again. Not doing this again.

As a local, I highly recommend this tour as it is the best way to enjoy 360 harbour. “ 鴨靈號” is the authentic experience

Boarding is a little confusing and finding the right line to be in is not a given. Eventually we were directed to the boat line after being in the wrong line for a half an hour. But the boat is just like in the picture and very casual, no seating per say but you grab a spot and then sail around the harbour which is interesting in itself. There are a lot of boats moving around the harbour and our boat managed to steer clear of the many boats and even used the sails with the boat hands raising these big sails. the light show from all the buildings seemed to last about 10 minutes and is worth seeing especially from the water. there were literally thousands of people lining the piers to watch, probably because it was the Chinese New Year. All in all it was a good experience and getting out on the water at night on an historic boat was worth the money and effort.

The boat left on time and the staff were attentive and well organized throughout the ride. It was a slow cruise around the harbor to watch the light show, with a relaxed pace and clear views. The experience was simple and straightforward. Overall, it was pleasant and well run.

Fun times on the iconic Dukling boat!! We took the evening tour during the Symphony of Lights - it was great! We were offered a local beer and they took pictures of everyone with the red sail backdrop!
