Step aboard Dukling, a truly unique experience unlike any other Hong Kong harbour tour. As the city’s oldest and only original Chinese junk boat, Dukling stands apart from modern replicas—authentically built in 1955 as a fishing vessel and lovingly restored to preserve her legacy after sinking in 2014.
Dukling offers the rare chance to sail on a living piece of history that has witnessed Hong Kong’s dramatic transformation over 70 years. On this small humble boat, guests can enjoy Hong Kong’s world-famous night scenery as the city lights sparkle across the skyline, all in a calm, intimate setting, unlike big, crowded cruises.
More than just a sightseeing trip, Dukling is also a floating museum. Discover original artefacts, historic photos, and fishermen’s tools, and delve into stories and culture through insightful commentary. Whether you crave authentic heritage, relaxation, or breathtaking views, Dukling promises an unforgettable journey through Hong Kong’s past and present.

Amazing experience for a bunch of reasons, but primarily for the chance to sail on the harbour in an old fishing boat. Perfect amount of people for the size of the boat, really informative interactions with the participants (and I really liked looking at the photos on board of the boat about its restoration), and friendly staff. Wish it could have gone on for longer, but the light show was amazing. Hong Kong really knows how to put on a show and I loved that the tourist ventures were on board with the concept.

Great night sail on Victoria Harbour. Light symphony was really lovely. Do ensure you go when it is dark. We went on the 7.30pm cruise. The lights are really the best then. Wished the sails of the boat had of been unfurled to see it in all its glory.

The tour is not bad, and the harbor view is definitely a must see. I’m just not sure if the boat adds much The main issue is that due to Earth hour, the light didn’t happen, and Viator didn’t warn me

Authentic Chinese Junk. Not overcrowded. Excellent organisation to get us on the boat despite the massive crowds on the quay .

Definitely a must for Hong Kong It made for a beautiful relaxing end to my trip. The crew are friendly and helpful, the only thing I would say is that the gentleman giving information over the microphone needed to be louder.

Beautiful, restored boat. I really enjoyed the commentary at the start, before the spectacular symphony of lights.
