Step aboard Dukling, the only authentic Chinese junk boat still regularly operating in Hong Kong. Built in 1955, Dukling was a fishing boat, home to hardworking fishermen. In the 80s, it was transformed into a sightseeing cruise. Its original form is preserved despite once having sunk in 2014.
Sailing through changing tides, Dukling has witnessed Hong Kong’s transformation from a fishing harbor to a modern metropolis. Representing the stories of hardworking fishermen, Dukling is an important symbol of Hong Kong's cultural legacy.
Today, Dukling offers unique boat tours in the Victoria Harbour. Embark on a voyage through time on board by learning about the history of Dukling, the fishermen culture and the history of Hong Kong from the commentatory. Feel the breeze and enjoy the stunning views as the oldest Chinese junk cruises along both sides of the modern harbour.
If you are looking for something more than just sightseeing, this is the right boat tour for you.

Very good experience. Well organised and the crew were very helpful. Well done! There is a lot of people on the dock. Don’t get confused and queue up with the masses. Just wait outside Starbucks until you see the boat with the red sails come over to the dock. Plenty of space to sit. I sat at the top and had a very nice view. Offered a drink of beer or carton of juice (variety of flavours). I would recommend this trip and I am so glad I did this rather than the bigger boat with hundreds of people enclosed on a boat. I would take the Dukling any day!

Come early as there were lots of people out walking around and we had difficulty finding the pier. It was worth it as the beautiful boat glided through the harbor and we watched the lights dance on the buildings. It was a great experience!

Great views and easy to find the boat at the onboarding. There was a choice of soft drinks or beers on board.

To see Hong Kong from the harbor all lit up at night was a magical experience! I am glad to have experienced it especially from a historical junk.

Quick trip around the Harbour. Not very comfortable seats or good views for most of the seats but reasonably priced for a 45min excursion. The light show at 8pm on the boat was fun to watch
