Step aboard Dukling, a truly unique experience unlike any other Hong Kong harbour tour. As the city’s oldest and only original Chinese junk boat, Dukling stands apart from modern replicas—authentically built in 1955 as a fishing vessel and lovingly restored to preserve her legacy after sinking in 2014.
Dukling offers the rare chance to sail on a living piece of history that has witnessed Hong Kong’s dramatic transformation over 70 years. On this small humble boat, guests can enjoy Hong Kong’s world-famous night scenery as the city lights sparkle across the skyline, all in a calm, intimate setting, unlike big, crowded cruises.
More than just a sightseeing trip, Dukling is also a floating museum. Discover original artefacts, historic photos, and fishermen’s tools, and delve into stories and culture through insightful commentary. Whether you crave authentic heritage, relaxation, or breathtaking views, Dukling promises an unforgettable journey through Hong Kong’s past and present.

It is likely the oldest and original red sail boat in the harbour. Business class it is not but authentic so will cut some slack. Music odd and not many on board,so intimate. Did not raise the main sail, too heavy, pity.Give it a try.

I have lived in Hong Kong for some time, and never been on this tour, although seeing her every day on the harbour. With friends visiting from Australia, I decided to book a group tour. I can't speak highly enough. The numbers on board were small - I hope that is intentional - so you truly get the experience of quietly cruising the harbour. Beautifully maintained boat and great staff.

It was a little hard to locate the boarding area to wait for the boat based on the information provided. But, basically, you need to be at the same location where the general ferry passengers are waiting, just at the front and not actually IN that line. Once the boat docked, the boarding process was very efficient. They seem to operate the cruises one after another- right on schedule. I sat on the upper level of the boat, which means you are sitting on the floor. The breeze was nice, but I think the view may actually be better if you stay below, where you are able to stand (your view can be kind of blocked by ropes when sitting up top). They offered an assortment of drinks, as in the listing, which was nice since it was fairly warm that night. The boat was not as crowded as some of the others I saw. Only the two smaller sails were open. Having the large, middle sail down wasn't as nice for pictures, but two other similar boats had all of their sails up that night, so I just took pictures of them, instead.

Lovely experience and view of the bay, Kowloon and Hong Kong island. Particularly fun during the night light show, as the buildings illuminate in unison with music on board.
