I’ve been on many food tours around the world and liked, but didn’t love this one. The stops were just a few and could have provided more variety. That said, our guide, Ed, was great and informative.

We really loved this tour. A fair amount of walking but broken up well with food stops and even bathroom stops. Our Hong Kong native guide ED did a GREAT job educating us and explaining what we were eating and going. His English is excellent and easily understood. He has traveled around the world and in our group of 9 we had the folks from England, Germany, Australia and the US, All of us felt very comfortable understanding him and could relate very well to him well and vice versa. The restaurants and food we tried included : 1) Tsim Xhai Kee Noodle shop and we had Wonton Noodle Soup; 2) Dragon Restaurant and we had Roast Meat (best food of the tour! So rich and delicious); 3) Kung Lee Sugar Cane Juice stand, having Sugar Cane Juice & Chinese Herbal Tea; 4) Wong Wing Kee store and we were given and sampled a bag of preserved fruits; 5) Dim Sum Square Kitchen and we had Dim Sum, Shrimp dumpling, Pork Dumpling, Siu Mai, Deep Fried Spring Rolls, Jaa Chun Guen, Crispy BBQ Pork Bun, Char Siu Bao and Har Gao; and, lastly, 6) Hei Lee Cake Shop where we had Egg Tart and Daan Taat. It was very delicious. Some of the Hong Kong sidewalks are very narrow and irregular so you can't use a wheelchair, Thus, some handicapped folks might not be able to do this tour. However, the stops were frequent enough and the ups and downs of roads (think San Francisco hills) and steps were navigable for me who has some heart disease and shortness of breath, And they warned me about this, but it all worked out well for me.

Ed was amazing, we learned so much about not only the incredibly delicious food he introduced us to, but also about Hong Kong. Thanks again Ed!

The tour was excellent and Ed was a fantastic guide. He is very knowledgeable about the different eateries that we visited on tour, as well as pointing out those that are worth checking out in the Central and Sheung Wan area and giving a brief history of the areas we were in. My favourite was looking at the ‘behind the scenes’ at the roast meat restaurant where the giant ovens are used to cook the roast pork and where suckling pigs is roasted over an open grill. The food sampling was diverse - traditional Chinese dim sum, wonton noodles, pork buns to mention a few. Being a group of 1, I found I did not need dinner afterwards as I was still full afterwards from the food sampling. Ed was great and offered suggestions of where I could go for the duration of my time in HK.
