This was a very well organised tour with Ricky ensuring everyone was kept together and knew where to meet. It was very easy to get on the cable car with the fast pass, there were certainly long queues for normal tickets. There was enough time to see everything and the transfer to the fishing village and back was very well organised. The transport there and back to the Kowloon Hotel was also well organised, however I think the instructions to get to the meeting point should say that it is just off Nathan Road, not on it.

The trip was great and well organised. The cable car and Buddha were very impressed and would recommend the boat trip. We saw the white dolphins which was great. The dim sum lunch was only ok as was not dim sum but a plate of various items like spring rolls and mushrooms plus noodles

Very well organised, the cable car was great, the boat trip to see the houses on stilts in the fishing village, we then walked up to the Buddha, great guides too

It is a nice tour Avoid Sundays because the place is too crowded Something that I didn’t like is that you have one way priority access to cable car so on the way back the queue was a nightmare (and you get this information after the payment) Also skip the vegetarian lunch because is too expensive and there are a lot of other options

Rex was great! Thank you Rex!!! Unfortunately, we got behind by someone in our group who chose to stand for 20 minutes waiting g for the tram ticket office to open, only to decide she needed to go the the bathroom right before boarding. That put everyone else behind waiting for her group to arrive at Ngong Ping. Not Rex’s fault, but very frustrating nonetheless. The tour was great, Rex is very knowledgeable and easy to understand. The entire tour was in English. When we got to the lunch area, the servers refused to acknowledge us so we sat for nearly 15 minutes waiting. We both wanted to walk up the steps to the Big Buddha, so we opted to leave and forgo lunch. If we had waited, there would have not been time, so that was quite frustrating. Other than that, the tour was really good. Would not choose the lunch and just dine on your own.

The tour is disjointed, disorganised and disappointing. The tour guide has too many people with different types of tickets and activities, different languages to translate everything and it got so confusing we nearly missed a bus! Speaking of transport: you catch a bus and then queue for ages with your "fast track" ticket, then get on a super long cable car, to then catch a bus down the mountain to Tai O fishing village to then catch another bus back up the hill, to get back on the cable car to catch a bus back..... exhausting!!! This could be som much easier managed!!! Tai O is a trap! Yes it was quaint and different but certainly not what I expected from hen I read the tour itinerary. The tour needs to be run in a smaller group, or there needs to be more than one guide. It was an impossible task for our poor guide to help us all.

After a bus ride of about 30 minutes we arrived on Lantau island on the cable car. Obtaining a bracelet and lining up to the cabin does take some time. The ride with the cable car is very nice and offers very nice views. Once upstairs we first did a short bus ride to the Tai-O fishing village. Very nice to walk around in for an hour. Then the bus back to visit the Beautiful P Lin Monastery. After visiting the monastery, you can climb the stairs to the big Buddha. Ok inside/under the Buddha you can walk around. Then the cable car back, where you had the choice to upgrade to a shared full glass cabin (also glass floor) or a private cabin. We chose the shared glass cabin. Definitely recommended for the small extra cost. You have the option to book a luch in advance. Don't do that! No value for money and at the locations you can choose and buy what you want. Very nice day trip.

Well organised tour. Skipping the line at the cable car was so important. Our guide, Rex, was friendly and communicated well so where knew where to be and when. A good amount of free time to wander. The meal at the monastery was generous too. Strongly recommend taking the optional boat ride to the stilt houses and dolphins - only $50HKD
