We had a great walk around the plains. We saw deer and a few birds. Very happy we paid someone to drive us there and guide us.

The communication at the start of arrangement met some hiccups. Once it was settled, the entire 4hr hike excursion went very smoothly. From timely hotel pick up by our guide Charith to the park entrance. Entrance fee is 11,000LKR per person. Which is fair, given the park is very well maintained. Charith was a very helpful guide with alot of knowledge of fauna and flora, animals and their habitations. He was also very attentive to our physical needs especially at some slippery routes (due to rain). Overall a very good experience. Recommended👍🏻👍🏻

The scenery was stunning. We were lucky when we started the walk it was very musty but it cleared and the views were stunning so clear. But what made the trip was the guide/ driver Chadith who was so knowledgeable and went far and above to give us such a memorable experience. We didn’t have enough cash for the entrance fee as they didn’t take credit cards. He had some cash but not enough and borrowed some more from another driver so we could gain entry to the park. Thanks once again for a memorable trip. Mark
