Great place. It's a walking trail and very long. They have a few sites on the way. It is a very long trail, so I wouldn't recommend going with very young kids. The trail also went up into the clouds and can also stay low. It was an amazing experience with my 7 and 10 year old boys.Bring lots of water as sometimes it can get hot depending on which day you go.

The Natural Park is incredibly beautiful. I was really lucky since the weather was sunny with no misth. Walking in the park with fresh and sunny air, in the silence of nature was wonderful. It wouldn't have been the same if Charith, my super nice and knowledgeable guide, hadn't been there. We spotted a lot of animals but no leopard. However the best thing to me is the views on the valley from the high peaks.

Awesome morning with Harshana. Picked us up from our hotel at 5am to make sure we were first to the park and had the chance to maybe spot a leopard. Whilst the leopards were still illusive it was still a great decision as we got to see the best views ever before the clouds rolled back in. Harshana was such a lovely person, his english was excellent, driving awesome (especially considering you couldn’t see a thing on the way there), picked out all the best spots to take photos . Thank you Harshana you were amazing 🤩

Our tour guide told us everything about the local flora and fauna. He even imitated a monkey in order to provoke a response; which it did.

⸻ We made the excursion to Horton Plains and it was a fantastic experience. Our guide Carith was excellent: very friendly, attentive at all times and with an impressive knowledge about the fauna, flora and nature of the place. He explained many curious details that made the visit even more interesting. The tour was very pleasant, we enjoyed the natural environment and everything we learned during the day. Undoubtedly, an experience we recommend 100%.

Thank you Charith. What a great guide and a lovely man. My partner and I enjoyed a long morning walk around Horton Plains including enjoying stopping off at waterfall, Bakers Falls, World’s End, and spotting numerous wildlife. For the experience and service provided as well as pick up and drop off by Charith, we found it to be good value for money and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Horton Plains.

Charith was great, he spotted lizards, monkeys and even located a giant tree squirrel just from recognising the sound of a fruit/nut being dropped. Without a guide, it would have just been a nice walk. I was glad I had my binoculars, I wouldn’t have seen the squirrel without them. It’s incredible to see the clouds rolling up over the cloud forest from World’s end viewpoint, but worth getting there as early as possible otherwise you might just see a blanket of mist. There are some toilets, bring your own paper. Highly recommend.
