It look like a walled fortress and palace belonged to the ancient city of Hue which was a capital city of the Nguyen Dynasty (13 kings) for 140 years dating back from 1805 until 1945. Visiting the complex of The Imperial City, you will admire many of magnificent palaces and temples . 5.00Chi Trinh was an excellent tour guide. We booked via our hotel and we were thoroughly impressed. Trinh explained the historical aspects of Hue so well. The highlight of our trip was the history lesson in the imperial city of Hue. 5/5 experience. Actually, my expectations were greatly surpassed.

5.00The tour was very nice and varied. I think it covers most of the sightseeings in Hue (we even saw Uncle Ho's high school), which were stunning! The guide was very nice and her explanations very good. The pick up time was a bit long (we were 8 people staying in 7 different hotels) but that allows to see the city in a car with AC. Beautiful day despite the heat.

4.00We enjoyed our tour. Nhi was fantastic and full of information. Hero our driver always had a cold bottle of water, wet towel and nice a/c cooled down bus waiting. Lunch at family house had local foods to try. The weather was very hot, so the large amount of walking and steps was quite uncomfortable.

5.00Our tour guide (Ny) was great. She provided us great information on the places that we visited (Imperial city, Thien Mu Pagoda, ancient tombs, Bao Dao market, dragon boat ride…). We had a good lunch at a local private place and a nice foot path. This tour took almost 8 hours. Highly recommend this tour.
