Hue Imperial City (The Citadel)

The Imperial City is the most important historical and cultural sight, occupies a prominent place in the middle of the city. It look like a walled fortress and palace belonged to the ancient city of Hue which was a capital city of the Nguyen Dynasty (13 kings) for 140 years dating back from 1805 until 1945. Visiting the complex of The Imperial City, you will admire many of magnificent palaces and temples . With magnificent beauty and excellent palace architecture, you will surely enjoy the journey to visit.

I had an excellent tour! Lots of fantastic sights and places we visited in Huê, including Dragon Boqt ride! Well organised. Enthusiastic friendly knowledgeable guide. Lovely lunch with very nice staff followed by herbal foot spa! Very good value and one of my favourite days in Vietnam so far.

The guide was not very engaging, would give us a short blurb at each stop and then let us wander on our own for 20-30 minutes. Food was decent, herbal foot bath was nice.

Very nice one day-trip. I stay in Hue only for 2 days and the trip fits perfectly. I learned a lot about Hue, attractions, food and local culture. Highly recommended!

The full day trip was wonderful. I am very glad I did it. The logistics were excellent and well communicated. The tour guide was quite friendly and explained the steps very well and presented pertinent information with good humor. The pace was reasonable. The variety of activities was excellent including boat tour and imperial city and tombs and craft village and excellent Vietnamese traditional lunch w herbal foot bath. We were very busy but it wasn't tiring. I highly recommend it.

The experience was so good! Our tour guide Ruby was informative, was very fun and made our tour very exciting. The food was delicious - we got to try Hue’s local food and Ny Ny was hospitable when she served us the food. Highly recommend!
