The Imperial City is the most important historical and cultural sight, occupies a prominent place in the middle of the city. It look like a walled fortress and palace belonged to the ancient city of Hue which was a capital city of the Nguyen Dynasty (13 kings) for 140 years dating back from 1805 until 1945. 5.00We had a great experience with this tour. It included small group only 4 of us. The guide was very kind and knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. We had a dragon boat ride and a lovely lunch at a family run restaurant. We highly recommend this tour.

5.00This was a fantastic tour from start to finish. Our guide, Trinh, could not have been any more friendly, knowledgeable, strategic. Our communication was impeccable. Even in really hot weather, the Tour was paced so well that we managed to cover more ground than I would’ve thought possible: Thien Mu, old Citadel, Incense village, and the tombs of 2 of the Nguyen dynasty. Our lunch was super delicious and our welcome to the home stay was genuine. Through often skeptical of lodging booked tours, I was really impressed at what a fantastic connection this was from Linda at the Scarlett Boutique Hotel. This tour offers rich historical perspective of the unique and multifaceted history of Hue, and it will make you feel more at home in the place you visit.

The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared many interesting stories about the city's heritage, making each stop engaging and memorable. The visit to the Imperial City was a highlight, with its impressive architecture and historical significance. I also enjoyed exploring the ancient pagodas, royal tombs, and local markets, which offered a glimpse into everyday life in Hue. Transportation was comfortable, and the pace of the tour allowed enough time to appreciate each attraction without feeling rushed. Overall, the Hue City Tour exceeded my expectations and is an excellent way to discover one of Vietnam's most historic and beautiful cities. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hue for the first time.

5.00Our tour leader ,Ruby, was eloquent with English and very knowledgable with her history. She was a delight to have our tour leader. Our foot soaks at My Home cafe were much appreciated after good food and Ny, the owner , made sure everyone was happy with her food. Also liked the touch when she showed us how to make her dessert treats. Fully recommend this tour but be prepared with suncream , hats and umbrellas in Summer. Thank goodness for air conditioned coaches!

5.00The tour guide and driver were kind and accommodating, ensuring that we were well-hydrated with cold bottles of water in the high heat/humidity. Trinh spoke well and was able to answer all our questions. She even quizzed the group and rewarded the winners with cute tiny souvenirs. It was a long, full day filled with history and interesting information. As well, the lunch was good and the included activities were fun and a nice change of pace. It is not an adrenaline packed type of tour.

5.00Ny gave us one of the best experiences of our holiday. She was engaging & interesting. The day was jam-packed full of sightseeing and information. We even got a foot soak after a fabulous lunch which was included.
