What To Expect

Humantay Lake Peru

START Our tour begins at 03:50 am with hotel pickup in Cusco. We then travel approximately 2 hours in our comfortable van to Mollepata, where you will enjoy a delicious breakfast. After breakfast, we continue for 1 more hour to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike. EXPERIENCE Upon arrival at Soraypampa, we begin a guided hike of approximately 1.5 hours along a beautiful scenic trail. For those who prefer extra comfort, horse rentals are available on site. Once you reach the stunning Humantay Lake, you will be rewarded with peaceful surroundings and breathtaking, highly photogenic views. Our guide knows the best photo spots, and you will have free time to explore and enjoy the area at your own pace. After the visit, we begin an easy and relaxing descent back to our transport. END OF OUR SERVICE We return to our restaurant, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch to recover your energy. After lunch, we head back to Cusco.

Everything as planned, breakfast and lunch were great. The guide always alert with the travelers. We left at 4am from the center of Cusco. It takes about 3 hours, counting on the coffee stop. The guide brings the group together to a certain point, after giving freedom to those who want to climb at a faster pace. He follows the latter. The climb takes around 4km, but it is good to respect your pace, as they will be at 4000m altitude. The communication was quick by whatsapp. I recommend

Mc expeditions were friendly and excellent communication! Contact via whatsapp prior was helpful to ensure we were ready for the day. As with all Cusco tours, ensure you have cash/coins for toilets and if you need to buy water. Many thanks to our guide, Jorge, who was very informative. Highly recommend.

The tour was very exciting, we went with friends, walking next to Nevados like Salkantay and Humanyay to finally reach the Humantay Lagoon, a place that transmits tranquility, very beautiful, we enjoyed it a lot
