What To Expect
Shinsekai
Time permitting, we’ll take a short stroll around Shinsekai—an often-overlooked area packed with hidden gems, fun facts, and sights to discover.
Tsutenkaku
Walk past Tsutenkaku, the famous landmark tower that is the focal point of the area and see where kushikatsu all began. Walk through the streets that over a century ago, were designed to bring a western feeling to Osaka.

5.00One of the best nights of my trip so far! Anna and Devon were brilliant hosts. Anna is hilarious, kept everybody laughing and enjoying the night. Highly recommend this tour to experience the local food but also get some history to the area and origins of the dishes.

5.00My first tour ever. I dont know what i was walking into and wasnt sure if it was a good idea. But!!!! It was an amazing experience!!! Scott was my tour guide, he was great, really friendly, knows what he was doing, he's been living here for awhile that he knows a lot of the history. The food was great!!!! The drink are great, the vibe was great, overall experience was really realllyy great!! To top it off, we met with a sumo wrestle and Scott was able to asked him, nicely and respectfully, to take picture with us!!!!!!! Definitly worth the price and experience! Would love to get more booking with them for other tour next time that im here!!! Thank you Scott!!!

5.00Super fun time running through the lesser known but delicious dishes in Osaka’s vibrant town of Shinsekai. I don’t think I would have tried them on my own time, and am glad to have a savvy Aussie named Adam guide me through the hidden gems of this culinary city. Would recommend! It’s nothing too crazy but scratched the curiosity itch perfectly! And Adam is a charasmatic spirit guide to take you through it!

5.00This was my first time booking something like and it was awesome! Adam was our tour guide and he was very friendly and gave us a bit of history of the foods we ate/ the area we walked throughout the night. Highly recommend and will definitely book again when I return with more people. ( i forgot to take photos of everything we ate but here’s a few)

5.00Our guide, Kenzo, took us on a delicious tour of Osaka street food. The tour was well paced and took us to five different spots to enjoy different local foods and drinks. Kenzo was knowledgeable, friendly and fun to be with. There were only 8 of us on the tour which was a perfectly sized group. We met six lovely people from England, Scotland and Germany, and really enjoyed being in their company during our tour. Kenzo really added value to the experience with fun facts, history and personal stories, and it was easy to see what a great rapport he had with the staff at each of the sites we visited. At the end of the tour Kenzo made sure we all knew how to get back to our hotels and assisted with directions as needed. It was a wonderful 3.5 hour tour!

5.00Anna was an amazingly fun and charismatic guide! She even let me off with only 2.5 strikes out of 3 for asking stupid questions! ;) All the restaurants we went to were absolutely amazing, but especially the last one. It was more than just a food tour, we also get some history and stories about the area we were in.

5.00Signed up about 3 weeks out for this highly rated food tour. Instructions stated to meet at a train platform, which fortunately there were many tourists standing around so we were able to find our group. We met Anna, our guide for the evening. She was extremely personable, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Anna encouraged and led group conversations and ensured everyone felt included. We hit some phenomenal food spots, and left the tour stuffed! If you’re looking for a fun evening in Osaka, I highly recommend this food tour and Anna if she’s available!

5.00Yesterday I went on a gastronomic tour in Osaka and I loved the experience! The food was great – it gave to taste several delicious dishes and get to know the local gastronomy better. Kenzo, who guided the tour, is super fun. It tells funny stories, creates a very relaxed atmosphere and is an excellent entertainer. It made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover the food of Osaka in an authentic way!
