From September, the tour includes even more food and a third drink— better value than ever. You’ll explore hidden alleys, arcades, and eateries only locals know, stopping at five hand-picked spots we visit often. Enjoy 15+ dishes, 3 local drinks, and Osaka favourites like takoyaki, karaage, kushikatsu, udon, and oden among many others.

Shinsekai

Time permitting, we’ll take a short stroll around Shinsekai—an often-overlooked area packed with hidden gems, fun facts, and sights to discover.

Tsutenkaku

Walk past Tsutenkaku, the famous landmark tower that is the focal point of the area and see where kushikatsu all began. Walk through the streets that over a century ago, were designed to bring a western feeling to Osaka.

We had the best evening eating around Osaka with Andy. I highly recommend this wonderful experience to anyone visiting the city to discover some hidden gems. So much fun. Andy is an amazing tour guide and the food was all so delicious. More than enough food for a meal! Would definitely do the tour again if I come back to Osaka and will recommend to any friends that do as well

We had 24 hours in Osaka with one goal in mind—eat as much as we could. Best way to do that was to book a food tour. This one came up as the highest reviewed, and for good reason. Our tour guide, Anna, was amazing. She took us through the Shinsekai area and to five different places that were each unique with delicious offerings. I’ll be thinking about what we ate on this tour for a long time… Anna is so much fun, a great conversationalist, and extremely knowledgeable about the area and, of course, the food. It was really cool to see her interact with the vendors too, who she clearly is very familiar with, so that was a great sign to us. Overall, we had a blast, ate a ton of delicious food, and this became a true highlight of our trip. If you’re in Osaka, this is a must do!

We had a great time on the tour. Scott took us to some great spots, we tried all kinds of delicious food (lots of it fried, yumm!) Had plenty of drinks and learned a bit about Osaka. Scott was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful with recommendations around the city. Would highly recommend! And if you have the opportunity, try the tomato sour, when in Osaka right?!

Andy was fantastic. Our family really enjoyed the tour. So great to try different foods. I think the fried chicken at Jonny’s was my favourite. Really recommend you do this tour when in Osaka, 1000% recommend. Thanks Andy
