  Amazing experience! Jake was our guide and he was so nice and knowledgeable and funny! The tour seemed to finish in a couple minutes even after all the food! Could not recommend enough!

  We really enjoyed our time with Kenzo exploring the food scene of Shinsekai. We really appreciated his hospitality and openness in sharing personal experiences and perspectives of the city and culture. 5/5 for Kenzo without a doubt! Our diverse group ended up being a fun crowd to mingle with and enjoy the night together. While we enjoyed the time and appreciated the opportunity to try many different foods, we felt something was a little lacking in the substance and depth of the food itself for the value. We've done a lot of food tours around the world and also very comfortable exploring and trying new foods ourselves. We were yearning for maybe something a bit more substantial or diverse from what we might have been able to come across ourselves. Oddly enough we did not have okonomiyaki as part of the tour which is unfortunate because we had held out getting it on the trip, fully expecting to get it here! If the tour was a bit cheaper I think it would have made sense for the experience we had. I think knowing how affordable so many of these foods are combined with our comfort in tasting those on our own made the value a little questionable. Overall still highly recommend the tour, especially for those that perhaps are not quite as comfortable adventuring on their own!

  We had a great time on the Osaka food tour with Secret Food Tours. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The tour was well paced, and each stop offered something different, giving us a chance to try a variety of local dishes while learning more about Osaka and its culture. Adam was an excellent guide - friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He shared interesting information about the city, the food, and the neighborhoods we visited, and he made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. What we appreciated most was that we got to visit places we would never have found on our own. The food felt authentic, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into choosing the stops. If you’re visiting Osaka and want to experience the local food scene beyond the usual tourist spots, I’d definitely recommend this tour. Thanks again to Adam for a memorable evening! We'll definitely be back!

  This was an amazing tour with Scott who was a really entertaining, interesting and knowledgeable guide who made the whole experience really fun and interactive. All of the food was absolutely delicious and well picked. One of the absolute highlights of our time in Osaka. I would not recommend eating beforehand or even having a large dinner as the tour involves a lot of food which is great value for money!

  We enjoyed all of our food tastings on this tour as well as the included beverages. Definitely one of our favorite experiences in Osaka. Our tour guide, Adam, was great and kept the night lively and entertaining. Our group was reasonably sized, only 8 total. Good for couples and friend groups alike. Tour lasted about 3 hours. Great way to experience a number of local Osaka favorites in a curated fashion.

  We had a fantastic food tour around Osaka and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Mike was an excellent tour guide who made the experience feel truly unique. At each stop, he took the time to explain the history of the venue, the dishes we were trying, and the local food culture, which added so much to the experience. What really stood out was how attentive he was to everyone in the group. He made sure each person felt included, answered any questions, and created a friendly and welcoming atmosphere throughout the tour. The food was excellent, the locations were well chosen, and Mike’s knowledge and enthusiasm made the whole experience memorable.   This tour is a must. If you are visiting Osaka, put this on your bucket list and seek out Adam Smith. I could't thank Adam enough for his experience and guidance. Adam was so generous with his knowledge of Japanese food, culture and custom. We had a great time sampling awesome food and drinks while Adam kept us informed about local customs. I left this tour with a full belly and a greater understanding of Japanese culture. Well done mate.
