Shinsekai

Time permitting, we’ll take a short stroll around Shinsekai—an often-overlooked area packed with hidden gems, fun facts, and sights to discover.

Tsutenkaku

Walk past Tsutenkaku, the famous landmark tower that is the focal point of the area and see where kushikatsu all began. Walk through the streets that over a century ago, were designed to bring a western feeling to Osaka.

Absolutely fantastic experience for a family of 5 (all adults) which we would all highly recommend. It was clearly a busy night for food tours but our locations were all just for us so it felt very personalised. Scott was a superb host and helped our group bond so we had a fab time socially as well as with the excellent food and drink. An opportunity to try some foods (and drinks) we would never have tried and there was plenty of everything too so don’t have a big lunch. A real highlight of our trip, thank you!

Sooo much awesome food, matched with just as much good booze. David knows where to eat and what the house specialty is. If you go home hungry or sober, trust me , it’s you.!

Scott went up and beyond. We tried 15 streetfood dishes with a group of 8, had a couple of drinks together with a group of 8 strolling through the area of Tsutenkaku. Thanks for the experience!

This tour exceeded our expectations! Our tour guide Andy was entertaining, knowledgeable and made the experience feel like it was made especially for our group. We had such a great time and learned a lot about Osaka food and the history of the area we toured, and, of course, the food was delicious. Highly recommend 😊

This tour was fantastic in every way. Our guide James was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the food and the area where we spent the evening. We had plenty of tastings and drinks and certainly didn’t need to eat anything further for the night as the servings were generous. We had a fun group also from all parts of the globe which also made for an interesting night. Highly recommended this tour.

Truly a phenomenal tour! Our guide Andy was hilarious and very knowledgeable about Osaka history as well as present day news. Also, all the food we tried was delicious! As a side note, while only 3 of the restaurants had drinks included Andy gave great suggestions on what to drink at the other places as well. Would highly suggest!
