What To Expect
Shinsekai
Time permitting, we’ll take a short stroll around Shinsekai—an often-overlooked area packed with hidden gems, fun facts, and sights to discover.
Tsutenkaku
Walk past Tsutenkaku, the famous landmark tower that is the focal point of the area and see where kushikatsu all began. Walk through the streets that over a century ago, were designed to bring a western feeling to Osaka.

5.00This small-group tour (10 people) visited 5 intimate restaurants near the Osaka tower. The restaurants were fairly close together, so walking was easy. The guide provided an informative and entertaining overview of the cultures contributing to Osaka (and Japanese) food traditions, and details on each course. Alternatives were available for people with particular food preferences.

Anna is an incredible guide—not only is she deeply knowledgeable about the city's history and culinary traditions, but she is also genuinely friendly and hilarious, keeping us laughing all night. Each stop offered delicious, authentic dishes and was cozy and welcoming, staffed by incredibly kind people who made us feel right at home the moment we walked through the door. If you are looking for an unforgettable night in Osaka, I cannot recommend Anna’s tour highly enough!

5.00Anna was a truly amazing guide!! She was so friendly and knowledgable - we had a fantastic first night in Osaka getting to know the local area and cuisine. We were taken to a number of hidden gems and tried the local delicacies. Anna was very accommodating, the portions were very generous and we certainly did not leave hungry! It was an unforgettable experience, I would recommend to anyone! I enjoy booking food tours to explore a city and this is by far the best one I have ever done!
