What To Expect
Shinsekai
Time permitting, we’ll take a short stroll around Shinsekai—an often-overlooked area packed with hidden gems, fun facts, and sights to discover.
Tsutenkaku
Walk past Tsutenkaku, the famous landmark tower that is the focal point of the area and see where kushikatsu all began. Walk through the streets that over a century ago, were designed to bring a western feeling to Osaka.

5.00Great food, great tour, great tourguide! Anna (our guide) knows so much about the area and the food. Tasting the food is great. But knowing what you eat is even better! We already visited the Dotonbori the day before and were a bit afraid we already experienced most of the Osaka food. our assumption was completely wrong. This tour offers far more and better food! I advise everyone to book this tour.

5.00had a great walking food tour in the Shinsekai area, with food ranging from fried food (takoyaki, karage, skewers), stews, sweet treats, japanese bbq, alcoholic/non alcoholic drinks etc. was about 3 hours in total. the host, Anna, was great and shared the history around the neighborhood, food culture and rivalries which made the night fun and charming, highly recommend!

5.00Our guide Kenzo was absolutely outstanding — incredibly knowledgeable about Osaka’s food culture and history, yet warm and approachable the entire time. He had a real gift for making everyone feel welcome and turning what could have been a standard tour into a genuinely memorable experience. Every spot he chose felt completely authentic — no tourist traps, just the real deal. The food was delicious from start to finish, and we were honestly amazed by how much was included for the price. Plenty of food and drinks, so we left thoroughly satisfied! If you’re visiting Osaka and love food, this tour is a must. Kenzo’s passion and expertise shine through, and the carefully selected venues make all the difference. Highly recommend!
