From September, the tour includes even more food and a third drink— better value than ever. You’ll explore hidden alleys, arcades, and eateries only locals know, stopping at five hand-picked spots we visit often. Enjoy 15+ dishes, 3 local drinks, and Osaka favourites like takoyaki, karaage, kushikatsu, udon, and oden among many others.

What To Expect
Shinsekai
Time permitting, we’ll take a short stroll around Shinsekai—an often-overlooked area packed with hidden gems, fun facts, and sights to discover.
Tsutenkaku
Walk past Tsutenkaku, the famous landmark tower that is the focal point of the area and see where kushikatsu all began. Walk through the streets that over a century ago, were designed to bring a western feeling to Osaka.

5.00Kenzo was a GREAT tour leader. He was warm, knowledgeable and gave us a great introduction to both Osaka's food scene and local life. The food on the tour was delicious and there was a lot of it, and Kenzo took us to some really cool local places we would never have visited without this tour. 5 stars!

5.00This food tour was fantastic. Tim was exceptional, he was funny and intelligent which made learning about the food and history incredibly engaging. The food was great, we hadn’t tried majority of it before tonight so it was great to experience things we may have shied away from if it weren’t for this tour. Highly recommend!

5.00Enterrtaining tour with a great guide. Kenzo, the Aussie-Japanese guide, took us to super places to try the local cuisine and drinks. We had a lot of laughs and actually learned a bit along the way. We would highly recommend this tour with Kenzo if you are looking for a fun way to sample some Japanese food and drink.
