What To Expect
Shinsekai
Time permitting, we’ll take a short stroll around Shinsekai—an often-overlooked area packed with hidden gems, fun facts, and sights to discover.
Tsutenkaku
Walk past Tsutenkaku, the famous landmark tower that is the focal point of the area and see where kushikatsu all began. Walk through the streets that over a century ago, were designed to bring a western feeling to Osaka.

5.00My daughter and I took this tour while we were staying in Osaka and it was one of the highlights of our holiday. Andy is incredibly knowledgeable about food, Osaka, history and he is also very funny. We had a great group of people and visited fantastic restaurants where Andy chose the food (taking into account some food allergies/requirements very deftly) and walked around a very vibrant and lovely part of the town. I loved it and would do it again if I ever got the chance. Thanks Andy!

5.0015 delicious courses… so full but sooo yummy. 10/10 for Anna. Only 8 guests so the perfect small size group. Best course was the third type of chicken. Location was off the typical Dotonbori location and having a guide made it amazing and we tried many dishes we wouldn’t have tried otherwise.

5.00The food tour was the perfect way to start our trip in Osaka. We got to try all kinds of foods and drinks and in a great area. Scott was brilliant and his information on the area and food added so much to the tour. The 3 hours flew by and we’d gladly do the tour again. Definitely arrive hungry, you won’t leave feeling hungry. Worth every penny for everything that’s included.

5.00We were a bit hungover from the night before and it was raining, therefore we were somewhat skeptical about how much fun we would have. But after the first stop and drink, we were completely won over and had a great time. The tour and our guide Anna were both informative and entertaining. After the tour, we felt refreshed enough to go out for another drink.

5.00This was one of the best food tours I have done. It was informative, fun and delicious. We tried over 15 different dishes (the chicken karage was a favorite!) and enjoyed walking and learning about the area. Anna was an excellent guide, she was fun and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend booking this food tour!!

5.00We were taken by Matt on a tour tasting local food in 5 places. Matt showed us around, sharing some inside knowledge bites on Osaka along the way. Food was delicious and some places included drinks. We had a great time - highly recommended
