Shinsekai

Time permitting, we’ll take a short stroll around Shinsekai—an often-overlooked area packed with hidden gems, fun facts, and sights to discover.

Tsutenkaku

Walk past Tsutenkaku, the famous landmark tower that is the focal point of the area and see where kushikatsu all began. Walk through the streets that over a century ago, were designed to bring a western feeling to Osaka.

The hungry Osaka street food tour in Shinsekai with Adam provided a lovely evening of great food, drinks and entertainment - a big part of that entertainment came from our host Adam Smith ( easy name to remember) He did such a great job of engaging with us and our fellow guests - he had many interesting stories about the food and culture - he kept things moving along in a fun way We tried some very interesting dishes and were completely full- overfilled as a matter of fact. Some fun and interesting choices for drinks was much appreciated as well He is extremely knowledgeable on the food, drinks and culture of Japan. I would highly recommend any tour he provides We had a wonderful time and met some friends along the way Thank you Adam for providing my sister and I with an exceptional evening we will fondly remember

Andy is awesome. This was the highlight of our Osaka trip. He is very knowledgeable about the city and Japanese culture. we would absolutely book this again with Andy and will be sure to recommend this tour to friends.

Davin was a lovely tour guide! He introduced us to some very nice places and shared a lot of history and facts while walking us through the streets. He seems to enjoy sharing Osaka culture a lot and I really enjoyed the experience! I would definitely recommend this to others!

What a phenomenal experience! We've done other food tours and walked away hungry. Not this time! Each stop was a small, but full serving of a different type of food. Each one better than the last Out guide, Matt, enhanced the experience with interesting stories about the history of the food, location, and/or restaurant owners. The day flew by too quickly and we couldn't eat again until the next day :0 I highly recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed the tour with Ana! She was very outgoing and knowledgeable about all the restaurants we tried! My favorites were the karage, a banana cocktail and deep fried ice cream at the end!

We tried lots of local delicacies in some quirky (but excellent) restaurants and James was a great host. Make sure you go hungry though - I was full about halfway through!
