What To Expect
Shinsekai
Time permitting, we’ll take a short stroll around Shinsekai—an often-overlooked area packed with hidden gems, fun facts, and sights to discover.
Tsutenkaku
Walk past Tsutenkaku, the famous landmark tower that is the focal point of the area and see where kushikatsu all began. Walk through the streets that over a century ago, were designed to bring a western feeling to Osaka.

5.00If you only do one thing in Osaka, don’t miss a tour with Andy at Hungry Osaka Tours! I love trying to do a food tour in every city we travel to, not only because I love food and trying new food. Along with delicious delights you find places you often would not find on your own, you also learn about the history of the food and history of the area you’re enjoying them. The tour with Andy at Hungry Osaka would probably be my favourite to date, as he infuses his tours with so much passion and Osaka Pride. With Andy’s quick wit and sarcasm he was ready to answer anything myself and other curious guests threw at him. Whilst at the same time providing us the most incredible knowledge around Osaka and its rich street food culture. Andy went above and beyond offering to suggest individual suggestions tailored to our hobbies and interests which we would not have stumbled across without his knowledge. The next morning he sent us a message on what’s app with individual google pins to each suggested location so we could find them easily, on his morning off I might add. Showing again just how passionate he is to show our the best of his city. I highly suggest if you’re in Osaka you definitely check out Hungry Osaka.

5.00We had the best time with our tour guide, Anna, on this tour. We are experienced tour-takers on vacation and have had our fair share of guides. Anna was probably the most genuine, bubbly, and knowledgeable guide we have had. We ate at multiple restaurants we would have never discovered on our own, and learned a lot about Osaka’s unique cuisine and culture. You will end the night with a smile on your face and with a very full belly. I would recommend this specific tour with this specific company to anyone and everyone.

She gave us great information about Osaka’s history, the good, the bad, and everything in between. She is sooo funny and cute. Anna elevated our experiences totally and we all fell in love with Osaka. I highly recommend the tour to everyone, if you want a great time, and an unforgettable night in Osaka. All the foods were amazing. The restaurant owners were all so friendly and welcoming. Anna, thank you so much for a night that we will not forget.
