You’ll explore hidden alleys, arcades, and eateries only locals know, stopping at five hand-picked spots we visit often. Enjoy 15+ dishes, 3 local drinks, and Osaka favourites like takoyaki, karaage, kushikatsu, udon, and oden among many others.

What To Expect
Shinsekai
Time permitting, we’ll take a short stroll around Shinsekai—an often-overlooked area packed with hidden gems, fun facts, and sights to discover.
Tsutenkaku
Walk past Tsutenkaku, the famous landmark tower that is the focal point of the area and see where kushikatsu all began. Walk through the streets that over a century ago, were designed to bring a western feeling to Osaka.

5.00My husband and I had an amazing night to remember with the Hungry Osaka Street Food Tour. Our tour guide was Adam, and he did an excellent job of regaling our group with Osaka's food history, providing local language and cultural tips, and smoothly navigating us from one restaurant/food stall to another. All of the food we had was phenomenal, and we appreciated the variety of cuisine, including tempura, fried chicken, and takoyaki. Three free alcoholic drinks were included with the price of the tour, and Adam was very helpful with ordering food and drinks for the group. I would recommend the Hungry Osaka Street Food Tour for couples, friends, and solo travelers.

5.00Adam was an absolute legend of a guide in Osaka. He took us to incredible local eateries we never would have found on our own — every place was unique. Great food, great stories, and genuinely lovely company. Highly recommend booking him… just maybe wear stretchy pants.
