What To Expect
Shinsekai
Time permitting, we’ll take a short stroll around Shinsekai—an often-overlooked area packed with hidden gems, fun facts, and sights to discover.
Tsutenkaku
Walk past Tsutenkaku, the famous landmark tower that is the focal point of the area and see where kushikatsu all began. Walk through the streets that over a century ago, were designed to bring a western feeling to Osaka.

5.00It was an awesome food tour. Matt our guide showed us the best places to grab food just like a local. The vibe of the Shinsekai was amazing. Duration of the tour was perfect. Would 100% book this tour again.

5.00Such a great look at real Osaka street food. Tim was friendly and knowledgeable and our group was a lot of fun! All tables were reserved in advance so no waiting around, and food was delivered quickly. Tim took photos, explained the food, and was so accomodating. Highly recommend.

5.00What a fun time we had on the Hungry Osaka Tour. Luca was an amazing guide—personable, knowledgeable, and eager to showcase the Osaka street food to our group. The eateries where we stopped were all different and so authentic, and Luca expertly guided us through the food and drink of the area. The food was delicious—and plentiful. Go hungry! This was one of the best things we did in Osaka, we highly recommend it!

5.00Overall, the food tour was a great experience! Our guide, Tim, was attentive, informative, and personable, and he made the tour feel very welcoming by remembering everyone’s names. Even though we only had small bites at each restaurant, I was surprisingly full by the end of the tour. The pricing felt fair for the amount of food, variety, and overall experience provided. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to explore the local food scene.

5.00We had such a good time on this tour (family of four, with two young adults). Davin was a fantastic guide who shared lots of interesting information about the area and life in Japan. And needless to say, we did NOT leave hungry after visiting 5 different restaurants!
