Wine fine, spirits disappointing

4.00The wine tasting was good. One group spokeswoman could have used an audio amp or whisperer system. The cheese and chocolate pairing was enlightening and tasty. The trip should have stopped with the wine however we went on and had a spirit visit whic I noticed the lack of enthusiasm by the group. I would cut that stop out save time to get back before 645pm as well as save some cost. I felt that was a waste of time. The driver, Mike, was really friendly and accommodating for all ages on the excursion.

4.00The trip was well organized in timely manner with very comfy small bus. But wineries are very regular looking and tasting. The most beautiful was Iron wine estate, but guide there seems to be not encouraged at all. Portions of wine were very small, only one sip to try. I had experience with degustations before, so my expectations were higher. Anyways, it was a lovely day, but please take hat and SPF on a summer day, its super hot there

5.00It was very good. The driver was informative, service-minded and funny. The people at the wineries were also great. In my opinion, you get enough to eat and drink- maybe even too much, but that’s more of a luxury than a problem. :)

5.00Very good sampling at three wineries in the Hunter Valley Region. Purchased probably the best Tawny (Port) I’ve ever had. Our driver Michael was excellent and entertaining. He took a short detour to provide us a view of a number of Kangaroos. Only con was a stop for some exotic gin, vodka and liqueurs. Would have preferred a stop at another winery.

2.00The van seatings were very uncomfortable. We did not follow the itinerary that was described on the listing. The first place it was only really tiny sips. They did the cheese pared tasting right after we had lunch so no one could even eat the cheese. The distillery was place that’s available for free for public. Overall it’s not a good price for what you get.
