Experience an action-packed arctic journey where you get to ride snowmobiles through stunning wilderness, meet enchanting reindeer, and energetic Alaskan Huskies.
Our guides will provide winter clothing and snowmobile training before taking off on a 1 hour long snowmobile adventure through Arctic Circle forests. After the snowmobile journey, visit the husky and reindeer farm, where you can enjoy a 500m ride on your own reindeer sledge and receive a reindeer sledge driver’s license. Next, make your way to the Alaskan Huskies and experience them in action on a 800m long sleigh ride. 2 adults share 1 snowmobile
In order to drive a snowmobile, a valid driver’s license (class B) is required. A provisional license or a picture of the driving license won’t be accepted. The driving license must be recognizable in English. If you do not bring your driving license you won’t be able to drive a snowmobile and no refund can be offered.
2 adults share 1 snowmobile. If the number of people in the group is an odd number, someone in the group will have to share a snowmobile with another member of the activity. Single driving is available as supplement for adults.
Children and adults without a drivers’ license can join the safari by sitting on the sledge.
Children 1-13 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. We recommend one of the parents to sit with a small child in the sledge for the child’s safety.
If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged (according to availability).
The snowmobile driver is responsible for any damages to the vehicle, with a maximum personal self-liability of 950€ per person per snowmobile in case of an accident. Additional insurance can be purchased on site for 15€, reducing self-liability to 150€. This insurance must be purchased before the start of the tour.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Join for a 1-hour snowmobile safari, meet the Reindeers and experience a brief sledge ride pulled by the reindeers. After the rides, you can learn more about the reindeer hearding lifestyle while warming up in a hut. Meet friendly Alaskan husky and experience the short sledge ride pulled by huskies too.

The biggest part of activity (snowmobile) was cancelled because of below 20 degrees temperature... no one told us anything before on boarding and only midway we were advised to wait until adults with binoculars kids finish that part to continue with the reindeer and husky experience... the company said we will be refunded to the tune of eur 114 being 35 per adult and 22 per child... while the same activity (1 hour snowmobiling) if to be booked with them would cost eur 300.... this is unacceptable... the rest of the tour was OK. When we complained in office when returned the manager said they understand and to communicate via viator, nothing can be done. This is unacceptable

Good tour, they deliver all the necessary equipment (all snow, shoes, gloves) the only drawback are too many groups (we left with two buses of 50 people for each). Excellent snowmobile ride, nice path in the middle of the woods and great driving. Very suggestive. Reindeer ride, very touristy. The course was a circular track where the guide accompanies you on foot while sitting on the towed sledge. Duration 5/10 minutes. Unfortunately we couldn't get around with the Huskies as it was too cold. But they showed us at least the cages. (They reimbursed us for this lack) Very nice kota where we were given cookies and tea. Excellent restaurant where at the end of the tour you have the opportunity to have lunch, we had an excellent salmon soup. (For a fee) Overall quality- good price even compared to other tours where each single excursion costs much more. Recommended

All To Do’s in one package. Not too long but still sufficient. From this trip I know what I would do again but longer. Animals have been treated with respect. Is just tourist handling don't expect the fairy tale

A great day out, a shame that the husky ride was cancelled however totally appreciate that the safety of the animals comes first. Our partial refund has already been issued which is fantastic. Snowmobiling was so much fun, more of a trail through the woods at a slower speed. We’ve done snowmobiling before where we went a lot faster but this was a different experience to really take in the scenery. Reindeer ride was great and 500m was more than enough in -34 degrees! All staff were lovely and made sure everyone was having fun throughout.

So, if you are looking for snapshots of "lapland activities" for your social media page, this tour won't disappoint. If you are looking for a genuine experience, don't waste your time (money). Here is what you can expect (take note because you won't get information regarding activities and expectations from the staff): expect the sign in and gear check out process to last about 45 minutes. They schedule this activity by the bus load...we had 2 bus loads so don't be surprised if you are joined by 80+ people on your adventure. Once you drive the 20 minutes to the park it takes them about 20 minutes to get everyone fitted with a helmut. You do get a basic tutorial on how to operate a snow mobile. You then play follow the leader with your guide and several other snow mobiles. You will stay on the track at all times (no opportunity to go off trail). Also, the machines have a speed governor limiting you to 40 kph. If you have never ridden a snow mobile before, it is a nice introduction. If you are hoping to zoom across a frozen tundra, you will be disappointed. Then, you will load back on your bus for a quick transport to the reindeer experience. After a bathroom break (80 people using 4 bathrooms takes some time), they walk you to get in line for a reindeer sled ride. The reindeer are all tethered in a line and you are led (by a handler walking in front) in a small loop (about 5 minutes)...plenty of opportunity for photos (it is almost like the staff know you are only there for photo opportunities). They then gather you in a hut for a brief information session about the reindeer with a cup of warm juice and ginger bread cookies. Finally, you are led to the dog sled area. Again, in line for a brief sample of a sled ride with plenty of photo opportunities (the ride is fast and exciting, but lasts less than 5 minutes). Manage your expectations and you won't be disappointed. As you might be able to tell, my expectations were not met. Would not recommend this activity. If someone from Arctic Circle Snowmobile park is reading this, here is some feedback for this tour...consider having your staff provide brief announcements informing attendees what to expect at intervals before each activity. There was a lot of confusion from attendees regarding what we were doing throughout the day, this contributed to some anxiety and crankiness.

One of the best tour in Rovaniemi. All the guides are so friendly and helpful. Fantastic snowmobile ride. Really had lot of fun. Excellent tour and definitely recommended.

This is an ideal activity for anyone short on time but wanting to experience huskies, visit a reindeer farm with a sleigh ride, and try snowmobiling. It met my expectations, though it is a large group, so it’s easy to get separated if you’re not paying attention. That said, the guides do their best to manage such a big group, and I commend them for that. I would recommend this tour.

The tour does the main things you have in Rovaniemi, for a fair price (in Finland). However, it is time-consuming, I would not recommend doing it with children.
