  We had a fantastic day with Jans, he kept us informed regarding pick up and gave historical and cultural information during the drive. We petted the huskies and could see how much they enjoyed their run, and are so well cared for. After mulled wine and gingerbread we headed out to a local village for a wine tasting, and market selling local wares. Jans also offered to stop on the way back if we wanted lunch. I highly recommend this tour with Jans.

  Fantastic day with Oskars! Pick up from hotel on time, friendly & chatty. Husky sledging was UNREAL! It's a must if staying in Riga. Huskys are all well cared for and love cuddles. If you're nervous to steer the sledge, dont let that put you off just do it and you'll love it! Mulled wine and biscuits after to warm up. Then visited beautiful Ligne & the history of paper mill. Wine tasting was fun & strong haha! Then we opted to do the bobsleigh suggested by Oskars. Amazing day. Cash on the day, you can't come to Riga and not do it. Thank you for a fab day! Highly recommend. The warmth & hospitality was amazing.

  We had an amazing experience with the Huskys! The trip started with our tour guide, Jans, picking us up from our hotel and driving us into the forest. We met the wonderful team and the gorgeous Huskeys and got to meet them and play with them before the ride started. It was an incredible experience and so picturesque as we are riding through the forests! We finished the ride with a mulled wine and gingerbread biscuits, and even bought a souvenir. Then, Jans took us to a little village with a winery and did a mini-wine tasting experience all of wines made locally. An absolutely amazing day! Thoroughly enjoyed!

  We had an amazing experience with the Husky’s and a great tour from Jans. Started off in the forest with the dogs and the team, was so great to meet the dogs and play with them before the ride. The ride itself was so brilliant & picturesque going through the forests of Latvia. Once the ride was complete we had a lovely glass of mulled wine and headed off to our next destination for wine tasting. Another great experience!   This was a fabulous trip! We were picked up from our hotel and driven to where the Husky’s eagerly greeted us! We were given some hot tea and a small shot of a local alcohol. We had time to meet and stroke all the dogs- so friendly and beautiful. Although there was not enough snow to use the sleighs - it didn’t matter that we were on a cart- it was amazing! The Husky’s set off at great speed! We both had a go of steering the cart- however the Husky’s do a great job doing it themselves!! When we arrived back we were then taken on a walk into the woods and up a viewing tower. The views were stunning!!! We highly recommend this tour!!!

  Incredible experience. Jans was a brilliant guide. Lots of information given on the journey to meet the dogs. Very friendly and approachable guy. Took us for a small walk through the forest and up a tower for a wonderful view after the experience. The dog experience itself was lovely. Even though we didn't have snow, it didnt make it any less enjoyable. Lots of time meeting the dogs and the folks who run the experience were excellent. Lots of information regarding the pups. The dogs are clearly very loved and well looked after and happy. They were adorable!!! 10/10

  Jans was a fantastic guide! Super accommodating and friendly. Truly a once in a lifetime experience, getting to play with the dogs beforehand, and then peacefully sleighing through the forest. Everyone involved was really friendly and reassuring. My mother was concerned about falling, but the team helped comfort her so she could join for the ride. A great, and unforgettable day! Thank you Jans!

  Fabulous trip with Janis, would 100% recommend. We had a really amazing husky sledding trip today. Janis was great at communicating and made it very easy to book. He picked us up at our hotel and drove us out into the countryside. On the way we chatted and learnt lots about the region which was so interesting for us. On arrival we met 19 huskies and had lots of time to greet them. Obviously very happy and healthy dogs, all with different personalities but all very sociable. Nikolai gave us instructions on how to work the sled and we set off. He accompanied us on another sled to ensure we were ok and he helped us change over half way round. We were the first ride of the day and the dogs were super enthusiastic. The rude was 4km which is longer than others we read about. On our return we had lots of time with the gorgeous dogs and Janis also kindly gave us mulled wine and tea and some special Latvian celebration cakes which were delicious! On the wY home Janis took us to a beautiful village in the countryside and to see a ferry that crosses a river, we then visited dome very interesting caves and stopped by a beautiful boutique local wine and produce store. Where we had dome tastings and bought dome gifts. On the way back to Riga Janis was so interesting and we learnt much more about the culture of Latvia. As extra special surprise was the amazing video Janis sent us of our time with the huskies! We have travelled all over the world and this is one of our favourite trips ever. Many thanks to Janis for a fabulous day and we hope Latvia wins the Eurovision!!!

  Booked for daughter’s 30th, we all had a brilliant day, Jan picked us up from apartment and gave us lots of useful information and history of Riga. The family who runs the dog sledding are very friendly and make it a special experience. We also were taken to Līgatne which was lovely. Definitely would recommend this trip. Thanks Jan
