Husky Dog sledding (or cart) tour in Latvia (Riga)- meet our professional guides and energetic husky team and jump into an unforgettable adventure! After a short safety briefing, take control of the sled and feel like a real musher.
Enjoy a thrilling 3 km husky ride through nature — fresh air, speed, and pure adrenaline just outside Riga.
After the ride, warm up with hot drinks and snacks and spend time with the huskies.
Snow or no snow — the tour runs!
If there is not enough snow, the experience continues with a wheeled dog cart, delivering the same excitement.

What To Expect

Husky Dog sledding tour in Latvia (Riga) – on arrival we will meet our guides and husky dog team. Our guide will give you instructions on how to control the sled and dogs. Become a real Musher! The Husky dog sledding track is around 3km long. This is an amazing experience that allows you to escape the city, breathe the fresh air and raise your adrenaline in a fast sled dog ride. After we will have hot drinks and snacks. If snow are not enough for sledges – there is possibility to go with dog-cart! Book in advance!

After huskies will go for small walking in snowie forests trails The Great Kangari Nature Reserve trails or Blue Hill.

5.00Really nice trip, about 45 minute drive from Riga. Jans is a great guide, very helpful and friendly. The dogs looked really well cared for and clearly loved pulling the sledge. We each got a chance to drive lasting about 10 mins and then a walk through woods up to a viewing tower. The whole trip from picked up to drop off lasted about 3 hours. Great experience.

5.00We had an incredible day with Jans! Everything was very smooth we got picked up from our hotel and drive around an hour to the dog sledging site which was so fun and thrilling. I recommend warm gloves but he also lent us some which was lovely. We then visited an incredible winery and it was really authentic. Jans created a video of the day for us and this was a great addition.

5.00We had an incredible time on the Husky Dog Sledding tour. Our guide Oskars was brilliant and the dogs were just incredible! We got to mush ourselves which was amazing and we had lots of time to get to know the dogs and meet them all individually, about 30 in total! After the sledding Oskars took us to a very high viewing platform where we got to see some incredible views of the beautiful surrounding area. On top of that they send you a video of your experience afterwards which is amazing and put together very well. I could not recommend this experience highly enough and they will collect you from your hotel and take you there and it was all done so well. Bucket list item.....ticked!

5.00We were picked up near our accommodation and then we were off! After a hearty greeting from the dogs, we were offered homemade tea and "Black Balsam," which definitely helped keep us warm. A short introduction and then we were allowed to drive. It was a fantastic experience driving through the snow-covered forest! The short snowhike also gave us a view of Latvia.
