If you want to get more out of your Ice cave tour, then we recommend this tour for you. Ice caves are really popular now, and it can be hard to find an Ice cave that is not crowded. We will try to time the visit to the ice cave well, giving you more time to enjoy the amazing wild nature around the glacier.
On this tour, we also do a glacier walk were we will visit a very nice blue glacier canyon.

Due to the popularity of the ice caves, you can expect groups from other companies inside the cave at the same time as our groups. Be sure to look at your email and phone the day before the tour. There can always be last minutes change due to weather or other uncontrollable conditions. If the Ice cave is not accessible due to some reasons, we always offer alternatives, refunding price difference between activities. Please be advised that this tour starts from Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.

5.00Truly the highlight of our 10 day trip to Iceland! Really glad we chose this company. They offer small groups, knowledgeable local guides and they time the cave+moulin visits perfectly to avoid crowds. The hike itself was beautiful and we visited one ice cave and 2 moulins. This will depend on the season of course, but I'm sure Glacier Trips will always show you the most beautiful places within hiking distance.

5.00Amazing experience walking across the glacier and into the ice cave. Stefan was a brilliant guide who is not only knowledgeable but clearly cares for our planet. I highly recommend the longer tour - it is truly amazing.

5.00What an experience!!! Highly recommend, this was an unforgettable moment for my sister and I. Our group was incredible and a huge shout out to our tour guide ( Fusi, not sure if that is spelt right haha ). The weather wasn’t on our side for the day, but we had many laughs. So worth it!

5.00The tour was awesome. Our guide Stefan was very knowledgeable and explained everything well. He covered a wide range of topics, from polar bear migration from Greenland, local farming, Iceland history and of course everything about glaciers and ice caves. He also had a great sense of humour and his dad jokes were .. well dad jokes. We spent hours on the ice. The blue cave was outstanding and looked as good as the photos in the tour promotions.

5.00The trip was amazing, very well explained by Hofn, which did a great job taking us to the ice caves. We were a small group (6) and the only ones able to go to the ice caves since other groups were scare of the bad weather forecast. It was an incredible experience overall.

5.00this was my 2nd time with glacier trips. They are local they operate with small groups only and know when and how you can avoid the crowds in the ice caves. Amazing. looking forward to another time. PS: all the 3 times we got to visit different caves
