Our group of nine came to Iceland to celebrate our daughter's wedding. We signed up for the zodiac boat tour in the morning, and the glacier walk in the afternoon. The zodiac boat tour was exciting although we didn't expect to have to sit on the edge of the boat and not in a seat. But we held on as instructed so all was good. We even got to see some seals! We saw beautiful glaciers and got some nice pictures. After a lunch break with the food trucks, we met up to do the glacier walk. The super jeep ride was an experience! We were fitted and put on our crampons and off we went to see some glaciers. I didn't expect the glaciers to be so "dirty looking". It rained so maybe the rain and melting glacier (it was not very cold) left not much ice where we were hiking. We did see some nice ice caves and formations. I was careful about not slipping and getting hurt and Floris guided me to see some formations that he said I did not want to miss. So, I was grateful for his concern and guidance. We got some nice pictures of our experience. We walked quite a bit and the crampons certainly did its job! There was some concern with my daughter who has very small feet (size 33) and whether she would be able to go on the glacier walk (minimum crampon size was 35). So we bought crampons that would fit her boots. But Floris and the other guide were able to fit a pair of the tour's crampons onto her boots. Floris said the crampons we bought wasn't suitable for ice but better for hiking mountains. She did fine with the provided crampons. Since we didn't expect to be doing much glacier hiking in the future, we gave the crampons to Floris for his hiking adventures as a tip. We would most definitely recommend this company to others who are coming to Iceland and want to do a glacier hike. It wasn't as daunting as I had in my mind, so this is something you should definitely do if you come to Iceland! Floris was a great guide! Sorry I didn't catch the name of our zodiac tour guide. He was great too!

The glacier is very beautiful, as expected. My review is for the company, or more specifically, for the guide. I didn't like it at all; I think he didn't do his job as a guide. He explained practically nothing, paid no attention to the group (one couple stayed far far away because their crampons came loose, and the guide didn't even look behind them), didn't help with gear placement, or check that it was properly fastened (up to five people had their crampons come loose...). He played a "guess the location game" with the coordinates, without even having apps like Wikiloc installed, which I think was a terrible waste of time and a poor experience, and some other minor things, but all in altogether, not the best experience. They even changed the time hour to early in the morning. Overall, I recommend a glacier tour, but not with this company.

This is one of those experiences that is absolutely worth the money. We really enjoyed the tour and got to see something interesting that we probably may never see again in our lives. Our guides Maritza and Guillermo were both excellent and made the experience both fun and safe as well. The hike itself isn’t physically strenuous and probably easier than I expected with the supplied crampons, but if you don’t like hiking moderate inclines in general then this probably isn’t for you. Highly recommended!

Otherworldly experience walking on top of a glacier! We got to see glacier moulins, crevasses, waterfalls inside glaciers. Takes some time and energy to get used to walking on ice (~2 hours) with crampons. Our guide Guillermo took care of the group very well. Please bring gloves and layers of warm clothes.

One of the highlights of our Iceland girl's trip. The guide was very engaging and enthusiastic. Don't be dissuaded by cloudy or wet weather - the glaciers are just as impressive in the rain. Wear hiking boots if you don't want to rent shoes and dress warmly. If I were to do it again, I would wear waterproof pants since it started to rain toward the end of the tour (I already had a waterproof jacket). Our guide found beautiful crevices to explore with aqua blue ice and was very knowledgable about how glaciers are formed. It's always fun when the guide is as excited to be there as you are!
