What To Expect
Thingvellir National Park
At Þingvellir National Park, travelers will explore one of Iceland’s most historically and geologically significant sites. Walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, visit the area where the world’s oldest parliament was founded, and enjoy views of lava fields, cliffs, and clear spring-fed water. The guide will explain the site’s history, geology, and cultural importance during a short walk through the park.
Gullfoss Falls
At Gullfoss waterfall, travelers will experience one of Iceland’s most powerful and iconic natural sights. The river Hvítá cascades in two dramatic stages into a deep canyon, creating mist and impressive views from several walking paths. 5.00If you’re in Reykjavik, stop scrolling and book this Golden Circle tour. Seriously 😉 Our guide, Thales, was an absolute legend. The man is a walking encyclopedia of Icelandic lore, but with way better jokes. He turned a scenic drive into a full-on masterclass about the land of fire and ice. The amazing stuff: Þingvellir: Walked between continents Geysir: Got some epic "eruption" videos Gullfoss: Absolutely mystical and magical Kerið Crater: amazing view from the top The "Surprise" (The Legend of the Shark): 🦈 The itinerary mentioned a "small local surprise." Thales whipped out some fermented shark. Let’s just say it’s a... unique culinary experience that stays with you (mostly in your nose). It was the highlight of the trip and had the whole bus laughing. An unforgettable day with a world-class guide. 10/10 highly recommend! 🤌👌🫶

5.00I had a wonderful experience on the Golden Circle tour. Everything was well-organized, and the sights were absolutely breathtaking. A special thank you to our tour guide, Thales, who truly made the trip memorable. He was very knowledgeable and shared interesting facts and stories throughout the journey, which made each stop even more meaningful. On top of that, he was friendly, approachable, and very accommodating to everyone in the group. What really made the experience extra special were the little surprises along the way. These thoughtful touches added a unique and personal feel to the tour, making it more than just a standard sightseeing trip. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this tour—especially if you get Thales as your guide!

5.00I would say that the excursion is in a small van. We were 17 of us. You'll have plenty of time to see all, even for old people walking slowly. You also have plenty of time to eat (90 min) which you can divide between your lunch (not included) and the geysers. Cherry on the top are the three small surprises given. It's written that you're back after 9 hours but the group was small so we were back one hour early. The guide was very knowledgeable about Iceland despite being a foreign worker and told us a lot of anecdotes. I would recommend the excursion for its interest, its price, its small group and the information given.

5.00We signed up for a big bus tour but somehow we got lucky and ended up with a minibus…Double lucky because we had a great guide, Roman, with Magic Circle Tours! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, funny and most importantly safe driver/guide. There was a wonderful surprise at the end of the tour.
