This was the best horse ride I’ve been on. The guide was knowledgeable and very helpful for new riders and riders with experience . The horses were very well behaved, so friendly and obviously taken care of well. The stable was clean and the lounge was cozy. I would absolutely recommend this anyone interested in riding in Iceland. What an awesome memory!

My husband and I booked this and we will do it every time we come back now. Guides were so nice and helpful. They matched us with horses based on skill level and our personality. Scenery was unparalleled in the countryside.

From beginning to end, awesome. Pick up was a bit delayed but we were notified and we arrived on time for our ride. Everyone was friendly, helpful and considerate. Everything was explained to us. We were paired with a horse based on our experience. An offer to leave the walking tour to a more adventurous ride was given to each rider. The path (trail) was over 8,000 year old lava fields and it was beautiful. The horses are so gentle and kind. They stay together, splitting one by one. One of guides took a lot of time to photograph each rider from several angles. Our guides we so kind and helpful. This experience I will always remember. I am 75 and we went on this ride to celebrate my sons 50th birthday, so you are never too old to ride an Icelandic horse.

Loved every second. The horses were so cute, chilled and easy to ride. They are very well looked after and seemed very happy. We had a good hour plus riding and split off into two groups so there’s something for everyone, all abilities. Staff were all very friendly, welcoming and more than happy to help. I’d highly recommend this tour

Booking and hotel pick-up worked smoothly. The location for the horseback riding was also very beautiful. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the way guests were treated. Out of four staff members, two were very friendly (and luckily they were the ones guiding the ride). The other two seemed annoyed, unfriendly, and simply recited their script in an unenthusiastic way. As a respectful and friendly attitude is very important to me, I would not visit this stable again for that reason.

I had SUCH a wonderful time on this tour. Everyone was really friendly and they made sure that we were bundled up for the weather, as well as felt safe while riding. The pick up was convenient in Reykjavik. On the tour we were able to break into two groups, each with a guide, one that went slower, and one that was more experienced and went faster, which was great. The scenery was STUNNING on the lava fields and our guide also made sure to take our pictures(: After, hot chocolate was a great. Well worth the price to me.

Great experience-timely pick up, good welcome at the facility. We had a solid easy to understand introduction, and were asked about our experience- then a suitable horse selected. We had help getting on if needed, and the guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Great scenery, lots of information, great photos taken - and a coffee or hot chocolate on return. Plenty of warm clothing and helmet provided too. Hope to return one day -the horses were awesome and really well behaved.
