What To Expect
Thingvellir National Park
Thingvellir National Park, a gem with immense historical and geological significance. This is where Iceland’s parliament was established in 930 A.D., with thirty ruling chiefs gathering here annually to discuss the island's laws until Danish rule began. It’s also where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet, allowing us to “walk between continents” at this unique location. Adding to the experience, we’ll take a short hike to the picturesque Öxararfoss waterfall, one of Iceland's few human-made waterfalls. The Öxará River was redirected in the 10th century to provide water for parliamentary assemblies.
Gullfoss Falls
Gullfoss waterfall, renowned for its thundering cascades and hypnotizing beauty is definitely Iceland´s no 1 most visited and photographed waterfall.

5.00The spots were wonderful and very carefully planned. The schedule was packed yet not too tight, making the whole experience fruitful. Some "mysterious" extra spots were also added if time allows, like petting Icelandic horses and stopping at a geothermal area. Our guide Goncalo was amazing and very knowledgeable. He is also very helpful and friendly. Some special stops were the dairy farm (where we had the best ice-cream we've ever had), and of course the scenic golden circle spots. The lunch at tomato farm was also wonderful. We joined another East West tour for South Coast and it was also absolutely wonderful.

5.00Had an amazing time on the Golden Circle tour with Simply Iceland! Our guide, Jonas, was awesome, funny, friendly, and full of interesting facts. Thingvellir was beautiful, especially standing between two continents. Watching Geysir erupt was so cool, and Gullfoss was just breathtaking. We also stopped at Efstidalur Farm for some delicious ice cream and got to pet the animals. Everything was well-organized and fun. Highly recommend this tour

5.00A Day to Remember! I still can’t get over how amazing this tour was! Walking through Thingvellir and standing between two continents felt surreal. Geysir erupting right in front of us was such a cool experience, and Gullfoss just wow! The power of that waterfall was unbelievable. Ending the day with fresh ice cream at Efstidalur Farm was the perfect touch. Huge thanks to our guide, Gestur, for making everything so fun and effortless. This tour is a must if you’re visiting Iceland!

5.00Such a great experience! The scenery at Thingvellir was beautiful, and seeing Geysir erupt every few minutes was really cool. Gullfoss was just incredible, and the ice cream stop at Efstidalur Farm was a perfect break. Arnar "Thor" was an excellent guide super friendly and full of interesting stories. Would definitely recommend this tour!
