  What can we say, absolutely brilliant! Hugh was an absolute delight, he was funny, so knowledgeable and an absolute gent ! The tour exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend him! Very coincidental that all the gents in the cab including Hugh were married to ladies with the same name! We have gained knowledge and insight into the history of Belfast that we didn’t know.   Driver 'big mick' arrived in burgundy taxi which was explained as not the black taxi expected. He then began the tlur and gave a very interesting and impartial view of the troubles from all sides. The tour was very informative and definately a must to do when visiting Belfast. Would highly recommend

  Hugh arrived at our pick up hotel on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable throughout the tour. He shared information from historical events up to current times on the history of Belfast and the areas we visited. We Highly recommend Hugh as a tour guide.

  This was a great way to learn about Belfast’s rich history. The murals were amazing but Hugh’s storytelling stole the show. You won’t regret this tour.

  The Black Taxi experience was really excellent. The driver came across as non partisan and was very informative and so pleasant to be with. The trip gave us an insight as to how things are now and how things were during The Troubles. I would recommend this trip to any visitor to Belfast.

  My wife and I had a black cab tour with Hugh whilst we were on a break to Belfast from Devon. A lovely, friendly knowledgeable guide who really brought to life recent history in the city. Highly recommended if you’re planning a tour.

  From the moment Hugh picked us up we knew this was going to be an excellent tour. He drove us around many parts of Belfast, we saw lots of murals along the way which Hugh explained the history of.
