What To Expect
Banyuwangi
Around 11:00 PM – 12:30 AM, our team will pick you up from your accommodation in Banyuwangi. Before heading to the hiking point, all participants will undergo a brief health check as required by local government regulations. Once completed, the journey continues to Paltuding Post, the starting point of the hike.
Paltuding is the starting point of the Ijen hike, located at the base of the mountain within the Ijen Plateau. Here, travelers will meet their guide, receive safety gear like gas masks and headlamps, and prepare for the trek. The cool mountain air and quiet surroundings set the tone for the adventure ahead, as hikers begin their ascent toward the famous Ijen Crater and its mesmerizing Blue Fire.

5.00Timing is everything when it comes to catching the blue flames, since they can only be seen very early in the morning. That’s why I really appreciate this agency for meeting my expectations. They picked us up right on time from the hotel all the way to Ijen. We were also given plenty of time to explore the crater and enjoy the stunning lake, ending the experience with some fried bananas!
