5.00Roger is extremely knowledgeable. I wish he had been our school history teacher, I might have actually learnt something! He brought the reality of WW1 in Flanders to life and explained the political context, numbers involved etc in a very relaxed and easy to understand way. I definitely recommend a tour with him if you want to make the most of your trip.

5.00This is a brilliant idea and expireance, Roger is so knowledgeable about the area and subject. I took my Dad who's 87,my brother-in-law, we managed the tour, it's made my dad's trip, as we originally came to see a war grave relation that we found. The tour was the cherry on the cake. If you don't want the hassle of driving finding and digging for all the interesting information about this area then book this tour,,,fact,,,easy,, informative,,and picked us up right outside our hotel, and dropped off.

5.00Roger was an amazing guide and went out of his way to help us trace a relative who was buried at Hooge Crater. Roger had an endless knowledge of the areas and was an excellent host. Would thoroughly recommend doing the tour.

5.00Roger took us on the Flanders Fields full day tour and it was absolutely fantastic. We covered so much and Roger explained everything along the way. Nothing was too much trouble and questions were encouraged. He is so knowledgable and respectful of the area as he lives there himself. I would highly recommend him as a guide as there is nothing he doesn't know about the WW1 battlefields of Ypres.

5.00Roger was an excellent guide and such a wealth of knowledge. He taught us anew information about the wars and since we are Canadians he highlighted our contributions. We didn’t realize he has written two books about the war and we got him to sign one for us. Highly recommend him.

5.00Roger is amazing! He knows so much about the WWI history around Ypres. He even picked me up from my hotel. It was amazing to see places like Sanctuary Wood and the german cemetry. Roger explains everything and you can ask him questions as much as you want to! I wish the tour would‘ve been longer, cause I loved it to listen to Rogers explanations! I got so many inspiration during the tour! Thank you Roger! Will definitely book you again!
