We had a wonderful experience in the incense village and conical hat making village. Kevin explained the whole process of incense making and conical hat making with a lot of patience and in great detail. Would definitely recommend this tour to gain more knowledge on incense making and conical hat making :).

Spending a day moving between the incense, conical hat, and lacquer villages felt like stepping into living craft studios rather than tourist stops. Watching artisans at work, exploring colorful drying yards, and creating our own painted hat gave the tour a personal touch. With Tom quietly guiding the experience and sharing local insight, the journey felt genuine, unhurried, and thoughtfully crafted.

It was a fun experience, especially seeing how the hats were made and having the opportunity to paint them. The ride was comfortable and also gave us the opportunity to look at Vietnam outside the city. Our host, Nadia, was really friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. Overall a quick and great trip.
