Vietnamese Lacquer Painting - Ha Thai Village
Begin your adventure in Ha Thai village, renowned for its lacquerware production since the 17th century. Meet a celebrated local artisan who will introduce you to this traditional art form. Under their expert guidance, you'll have the opportunity to create your own lacquer painting as a unique souvenir.
Chuong Village
Next, journey to the 300-year-old Chuong village, famous for its conical hat making. Wander through the village and, depending on availability, either visit a war veteran to hear personal stories from the Vietnam War or meet other local artisans to learn about their daily lives. Enjoy a delicious home-cooked lunch prepared by a local female artisan, immersing yourself in authentic Vietnamese hospitality. After lunch, try your hand at painting your own hat or join in the hat-making process with guidance from skilled craftspeople.

5.00A wonderful experience! We learned so much from our tour guide Andy about each place we visited, and about Vietnam in general. We loved the experience of doing our own lacquer plaque and conical hat to keep. Lunch was wonderful with more than the group could possibly finish and prepared by a lovely local family. Highly recommend this tour especially if you are needing a relaxing day.

5.00Provide pick up and drop off from your hotel. We spent slightly more than an hour to the destination. The tour leader speaks English and she was humorous yet informative. We get a chance to paint our own conical hat and at the incense making factory we learned the process of incense making. Ended the tour with colourful incense background for photography.
